The property was great, we had booked a deluxe double room which was on the 2nd floor and had views of the small woodland area. The room was nice sized and very comfortable. We had free access to the Spa, which was alright. Lots of kids in the swimming pool and clear signs on dos and donts for the sauna so people were entering with plastic slippers, walking boots and also bringing plastic water bottles inside - this can definitely improve. Maybe add a separate kids pool area so adults can enjoy the spa and have some clear rules for using sauna.
Breakfast was good and the property decor was modern and fresh.
The property does NOT have EV chargers so beware. The nearest one at ASDA is very slow and often out of order. For a property this size I would say its worth installing few EV chargers.
St Austell lacks good restaurants.
Short distance is Charlestown which has some amazing resturants around a beautiful harbour.

Hotel and staff was lovely pool gym and spa was great, not much around the hotel you will need a car. Very relaxing stay.

We had the misfortune of a broken fridge. If we had noticed it earlier i dare say it would have been rectified but unfortunately our items for our picnic we had planned were ruined. The staff were happy to provide one but ww declined.

Had to book quickly while at work, the premium room has a shower, bath, and sink in the bedroom. The bedroom fills with steam and gets soaking wet when you have a shower or bath. Makes it very uncomfortable to sleep in. It was very clean, but having wash facilities in the bedroom is without a doubt the worst idea.

A convenient overnight to attend a wedding.
Staff were super helpful with an early check in to enable us to drop bags and change clothes before the service.
Nice and quiet .. a sound sleep!

Staff were brilliant, the lady at the front desk so was welcoming and helpful, really made the stay! The room was beautiful as was the facilities. The only thing I would say is the place could be better lit at night time, especially at the front as I couldn't see where to turn in.

Room had clearly been recently painted - but pictures etc not put back were on top of cupboard
General furnishings dated and well used, which is a real shame .
Struggled to get enough hot water for a bath in the evening
Food was excellent and service even though young staff was good.
Breakfast outstanding .
We weren't and aware you couldn't charge to your room, so embarrassingly had to dash back to room to get wallet to pay for dinner. Bar staff were brilliant and sorted for our pre dinner drinks to be charged to room.

Brilliant customer service, staff all helpful and very upbeat. The hotel is wonderful, absolutely spotless and well decorated. Our bedroom was cosy and very clean, really good nights sleep. We ate in the bar , our meal was delicious, came quickly and served with a smile. Breakfast gave a massive choice of both hot and cold. We will definitely be returning.😃

It was fabulous. Room clean. Food at bar and restaurant very tasty. Great spa and pool included. I only gave it good and not excellent due to the shower. It was Luke warm not hot. We complained and it was supposed to be fixed during the day. However night 2 and shower was still luke warm. The shower was lovely but There was definitely a problem with thermostat.
