Hôtel d'Orsay

The hotel is across the street from the train station so it is very convenient. There are many available options for food etc. within walking distance. The staff was very kind and courteous. We only dealt with 1 woman but she was very pleasent and helpful. Checking in was easy and the lobby was clean and newish. They had croissants and bread out in the morning and coffee was available from a machine which was fine. We did not eat or drink any of these options so not sure if they were complementary or not. We stayed in room 305. I would advise against this. The room was tiny (synonymous with many European rooms). The room was extremely dated. There was stained carpet throughout (not depicted in rooms on the website). I believe we had the only room with carpet on our floor as it had an obvious transition piece under the door that no other room on our floor had. The bathroom was not clean. There was all sorts of hair all over and all the baseboards were rotted dew to not having any kind of shower curtain or door seperating the shower/bathtub from the rest of the bathroom. There were no bugs, the bed was comfortable enough but there were no other ame itues in the room. We paid $375 CDN for this room for 2 nights (due to booking with expedia...we were locked in for 2 nights after booking), which was a huge mistake. Although the staff was lovely we would never stay at this hotel again. Too expensive, dated, and not cleaned well.

I felt very welcome. Staff was great & minded all my special requests. The room was clean, silent & the bed very comfy. Also the bathroom is spacious with a lot of storage areas. In sight-distance to the main station & walkable into centre in about 10min. Can't understand the 2✴️, stayed in 4 that were worse.

It was cheap and close to the Train station. I really did not like that we had to leave our room key in a bo by reception each time we left the hotel. Hardly secure

Great location, opposite Gare Matabiau in Toulouse. Hotel is old. but clean and you get what you pay for here, so don't expect too much.

Ideally located steps away from the railway station and the airport shuttle bus. A short walk from the city centre attractions

Nice hotel, pleasant staff. Very handy for sites and bars and restaurants

The visit to Hotel D'orsay was disappointing. The good thing about the hotel is its proximity to Gare Matabiau. The staff—I cannot complain at all—were all very nice and helpful. But the bed was very uncomfortable, the shower was weird, and the toilet seat was also something else.

Thanks to the hotel guest, we had the opportunity to early check-in. Comfort in the room was a bit disappointing, compared to the beautiful pictures posted on the web (small room, curtain fixation missing). It was too warm in the room (25°C, had to open window, AC was not functioning).

At an otherwise pleasing hotel, I was very frustrated by the lack of a good internet connection. The desk said they were going fix it but never did.

We arrived late at night and the lady at check in was friendly and quick. We got up to our room which we quickly realised hadn’t been cleaned since the last guest.... so we went back downstairs and they gave us a new room. The new room was cleaned but in a worse condition - it was a disabled room so no shower curtain/bath/etc, we were only given 1 towel between 2, the air conditioner didn’t really work at all, and there was a strange smell in the room. We probably wouldn’t stay here again, although it was super convenient being right next to the bus stop & train station.

Though the hotel faces the train station my room (in back, overlooking a garden) was silent and I got a great night’s sleep. The desk clerk was friendly and helpful when I checked in. The physical property is spartan but clean and the price was very good. Walk to my train in 5 min.

Perfect for one night stay after qnd before a long drive. Great staff and room was surprisingly good for the price. Supet petit hôtel pour une nuit. Personnel a vos attentes. Agreable!

The hotel was handy to the train. The front desk was available 24 hours. However this was not written on the web site. Free internet but this was not written on the web site.

Man this place was gross! I'm just happy there was a lift and A/C but the room was full of stains and dust and I hated it. There was a little hair right on the shower handle - perfect! Obviously will never stay again.

Right across from the train station. Very good location. Main town just a walk up the street. Hotel looks very plain but the staff was exceptional. Breakfast is delicious, reasonable and ample. My only suggestion would be to change out the old carpets and replace with Vinyl flooring for increased cleanliness. The hotel itself is clean, cared for and comfortable
