The room was very clean and comfortable with nice amenities - robe, slippers, toiletries, water, tea/coffee. The bell girl was very helpful and I felt safe as a solo woman! Note that there are not curtains but instead blackout blinds that are controlled by a remote and then a sheer cover for the daytime. (no room service except for breakfast)

A truly beautiful hotel, all details thought of and well managed - such as a bed side light switch which turns off ALL lights. How many times have you had to run around a hotel room trying to turn off all lights including the decorative ones? The place oozes class and its spa is lovely.

A little dated, but superbly maintained, clean and tidy. For a more rainy day/ relaxing it would be nice to have a better range of English film/ subtitled channels. All staff were friendly and accommodating and tolerant of my ropey German! My wish-list? A modest swimming facility would be excellent. I will be returning.

Old fashioned yet in a good way. Lots of wood in the reception area with a mirrored ceiling! Friendly welcome at reception. The bar was lively and great service, drinks and currywurst good. Room was fine although on the warm side, Good shower. TV was pretty redundant, most channels didn't have reception, no big deal though.

I stayed at the hotel a few times before. Great location. In the heart of Guetersloh, 5 minutes walk from the train station and a short walk to the beautiful Stadtpark. Very safe area. The hotel is very nice and clean but the rooms are a little dated but have AC what is a big plus! During my stay there was a big event going on at the Dance Studio across the street. It was not noisy but there wasn’t any parking available. Not even at the parking garage across the street. When I came back from shopping a few times and ask the young guy at the reception if I could park my car for 5 minutes at the hotel loading zone to carry my bags upstairs he told me NO. Totally unexceptionable!!!! So I had to park each time really far away and schlepp all my bags in the heat to the hotel. Customer Service is for sure not a priority at this hotel. I am a huge world traveler and this was unacceptable!!! Customer Service is sooooo important. When I checked out he did apologize for the parking situation but I think it was a little too late.

One of our favourite hotels and we visit every time we visit Germany but we were disappointed that the main restaurant is not open on Saturday and Sunday evening only lunchtime however there is also an Italian restaurant within the hotel and maybe the park restaurant is open during the summer as it is lovely to sit out in the beautiful surroundings for dinner
