Lovely, cosy, and clean building with a great ground floor and mezzanine for resting in, reading, getting a coffee or a beer. The 6 bed dorm was excellent; clean, very comfy bed, and nice hot and powerful shower. I had no noise or privacy concerns whatsoever from other guests or staff. The staff were also very friendly and helpful. And the location is great too, just a 5 minute walk from Thiseio station. I feel lucky to have found this place at such an affordable price and if I return to Athens I would definitely stay here again.

This was one of the coolest hostels I’ve ever stayed it- and I’ve been to a LOT of hostels. Beautiful design, nice hangout spot downstairs and in the mezzanine, good food, the rooftop was a bonus. How do I get the orange couch they have for my living room? It’s just a vibrant space full of art and interesting people. Also for the hostel rooms they had spacious lockers and a beautiful bathroom. Lastly the staff went above and beyond for me- I lost something and they checked with all the cleaning folks and remembered me and found me to report back. Just really nice of them.

This is such a cool co-living place in a fabulous area There are a bunch of activities so check them out The rooms and bathrooms have been cleverly designed, the lockers are a great idea Communication is great and its signature fragrance sets it apart from other places

Check in was 45 minutes late, which is unacceptable for a hotel as nice as this one. The only thing they did was offer me a free drink at the bar when all I wanted to do was lay down after 4 days of traveling. Truly don’t understand why/how check in could be late on a standard room.

It was my first time staying at a hostel and picking Okupa was the best decision I’ve made. The place is beautiful I stayed for 3 nights and I was close to everything and walked to every attraction. The pool was amazing in the hot weather. Everyone was attentive and friendly from the front desk to Mary the custodian. They have some jam sessions once in a while with great Dj’s if you’re not feeling up to going out.I highly recommend this hostel and can’t wait to return.

Staff were lovely, the rooms were modern and clean, pool could do with an upgrade as it is not very accessible (no entry or exit steps or rails) but the breakfast is great and in a safe neighbourhood, it is a bit of a walk to get places but you know that when booking - still close enough to Syntagma and not too far from Ermou St/heart of Monastiraki

On arrival, reception was attentive. Our room was spacious, had everything you need for a hotel stay. The ambience of this hotel was amazing, decor and seating was really chilled with relaxing music playing constantly. The rooftop pool was welcoming, again with the best comfort loungers ever.

The rooftop pool at this property is why you need to stay here. The heat in Athens can be relentless and this very trendy hotel about 10 mins walk from centre of Athens is a great find. The rooms are small but they are as advertised and were modern and light and airy. The staff at the front desk are so helpful and accomodating and breakfast was served in the lobby downstairs that had a good vibe. I sort of liked that it was away from the craziness of a few streets away and anticipate this area will become up and coming in future years. The hotel were also great at organising pico ups from

This was a fabulous stay. An upscale backpacker with a great vibe. Great breakfast, music in the evenings and our room (301) had a great view of the acropolis from our deck. A great roof to pool. Easily walkable to most sites.
