ONOMA Hotel

We stayed at the Onoma Hotel on a short family trip to Thessaloniki in May 2026. The hotel is located right outside of the center, a pleasant 15-20 min walk to the popular main streets (shops/restaurants etc). The lobby is well designed and has a good atmosphere. We stayed at a family room, which was spacious and quiet. The hotel has a small pool on the roof, with a great bar and a nice view. In addition, we used the gym, the game room, and the small basketball court on the grounds and had a blast. The hotel staff is super friendly and helpful and we highly recommend the hotel to others.

We really enjoyed our stay. The hotel is very modern and stylish. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The highlight for us was the rooftop pool :)

Firstly, it should not be considered as a five star hotel. When I called to confirm the parking spot while driving from the airport, the person at the reception was not polite at all (and the parking fee is 15€, no information aboit that extra fee on hotels.com). Secondly, there was a coffee spoiled on my carpet and bedsheets. The room was dark (and don't expect an upgrade with your gold status). When coming to the hotel with the takeaway coffee, I was told by the staff not to carry it around the hotel since it is no allowed. Breakfast is OK but no scramble eggs. Last thing - the water was dropping from the ceiling at the reception strait on my head (no info about that). Overall 6/10, definitely not higher.

Ottimo servizio, personale gentile e disponibile. Adatto anche per la permanenza con i bambini grazie alla sala giochi e la piscina. La piscina è piccola non va bene per gli adulti. Ci sono attività serali nella terrazza sul tetto. La colazione è molto ricca da insalate e verdure, a formaggi, tonno, lieviti rustici, una buona varietà di dolci, yogurt e budini, cereali e bevande calde. Abbiamo usufruito del servizio di tintoria, un po' caro ma non eccessivo e molto comodo. La stanza è stata pulita, sistemata e gli asciugamani cambiati ogni giorno. Abbiamo ricevuto una stanza la cui vista sull'esterno non era bella, ma aveva il vantaggio di essere verso la parte interna e quindi molto silenziosa che per noi era la cosa più importante. Abbiamo dovuto impostare il condizionatore alla temperatura minima perché raffreddasse a sufficienza, ma abbiamo notato in altri locali che abbiamo visitato che è molto comune il fatto che i condizionatori raffreddino poco, anche altre persone che abbiamo conosciuto che alloggiavano in altri alberghi hanno detto lo stesso dell'aria condizionata nella loro stanza. In 10/15 minuti a piedi si arriva in centro e la zona è comunque abbastanza centrale, ben collegata, con un grande supermercato e diversi mini market nelle immediate vicinanze. C'è anche un centro commerciale a 15/20 minuti a piedi dall'albergo. Esperienza complessiva molto soddisfacente, se capiteremo nuovamente a Salonicco ci sono ottime probabilità di tornare in questo albergo.

Breakfast was great, good variety of food and rooms are nicely decorated and spacious. Pool wasn’t big, but does the job for a warm day. Rooftop area is great and we had a couple of meals there. Definitely recommend this place! About 15 min walking from restaurants and shopping areas.

This hotel is a gem, so many fun things, the staff is lovely, the breakfast great, the restaurant at the roof amazing (one of the delicious meals I had in a long time).
