This is the umpteenth time I have stayed at this hotel and it is still very pleasant.

The kids love staying in the family room because it has a bathtub, so they can take a bath and play in the water as much as they like.

The taste and variety of food need improvement. The service is good, and they diligently help my younger sibling with Down syndrome.

Old hotel, bathroom needs frequent checks, often flooded with water and moss, and some walls are showing signs of scale. Good service, cleanliness is also good.

I'd booked the hotel two weeks in advance, specifying that I'd requested connecting rooms, early check-in, and smoking. Since I was bringing a small group, I had to ensure their comfort, as we'd be staying for two nights. Then I confirmed again by phone a week before arriving that I wanted early check-in and a smoking room. I still remember the response: "No promises, you can just come to the hotel later." I thought, "Okay." On the day, I arrived at 9:30 a.m. to ask if early check-in was possible. The answer was no, the earliest was 11 a.m. Okay, I accepted, so my small group and I decided to detour around Solo first. We returned at 11 a.m., and... it wasn't possible. Oh my God. We ended up waiting in the restaurant. The next mistake was the locked connecting door. It should have been unlocked from the start, but instead we had to wait for the staff to come and unlock it. And both of the rooms I'd booked were non-smoking. When we called the receptionist, they said they could change it, but only after 2 p.m. Okay, I'm fed up, so I just accept it. Forced. We were supposed to check out Sunday afternoon, but we ended up checking out at 6 a.m. Sunday morning. The service was terrible. We weren't even given a small towel to wipe the floor on the second day of our stay. I already said I didn't mind the extra cost, but this was purely the fault of Ibis's chaotic management. Unless I booked last minute, then it was my fault. With 14 business days to wait, my written note and verbal requests felt ignored. Bad, bad experience.

Strategic hotel, close to everywhere, friendly service, clean rooms, highly recommended when in Solo to stay here

A very impressive hotel. I arrived to check in at 1:00 a.m. due to the long journey from Jakarta to Solo. I was greeted by the warm receptionist. Nice room, nice interior, and excellent exterior. Thank you, Ibis Styles Solo.

Nice location (near from CFD area), friendly staff, but unfortunately they didn't have any bellboy standby, so when arrived (around 8 pm), we didn't get any help for for luggage handling. But overall, it was very nice to stay at this hotel.

We apologize. Our last visit to this hotel was less than satisfactory. The bolster was damaged and brownish (the dacron was coming out of its sheath), but the staff quickly replaced it. The breakfast buffet had a single ladle used alternately for porridge and soto soup. We hope this will be addressed by hotel management. We apologize. We hope this will lead to future improvements.
