Overall, it's actually pretty good. This hotel used to be one of my favorites, but it's been a while since I've been here, so it seems there have been some changes. You could still have breakfast on the rooftop, but apparently it's different now. The breakfast area in the lobby and on the first floor is a bit small. The food is so-so, and there's a stale smell while eating, probably from the dabu-dabu chili sauce. It's a shame. Also, the room service isn't very responsive. I requested creamer, but it wasn't delivered. Hopefully, things will improve in the future.

It's great to have a gym and cafe on the rooftop. At 2 o'clock last night, my wife wasn't feeling well and had run out of eucalyptus oil. I called reception, and Aditia helped me, giving me fresh eucalyptus oil instead of used oil. Thank you, Adit. Stay healthy and successful to all the staff at Hotel Janevalla.

I arrived to check in at 3:00 (I was also asked for my ID card for check-in), but the room wasn't available because no one had checked out yet. When I returned at 9:00 PM, the room wasn't available, and the receptionist was confused about my reservation. As a result, I had to wait another 20 minutes, even though I was heavily pregnant and had a toddler with me.

When I arrived at the hotel, my car was valet-parked and I helped unload my luggage. I proceeded to the lobby to check in and it turned out the room I had booked hadn't been prepared (it seemed like I'd missed it), so I had to wait about 15 minutes. It was a bit of a hassle because I had a toddler. When I arrived, my room was clean. It was a bit of a hassle to leave the hotel because of the valet service. The next day, breakfast was divided into two areas, upstairs and downstairs. It was a bit of a hassle getting up and down with a toddler. The food was standard.

Disclaimer: I checked in on a weekday for a one-day work-related stay. What I liked: 1. Check-in at 7:30 PM and I got my room straight away. 2. Room service was very helpful, including replenishing drinking water, cutlery, and an iron. 3. I had more free time to relax and rest because it was open 24/7. Things that could be improved: 1. The walls are a bit thin, so sound from the next room and the one in front of my room could still be heard.
