Here's our experience during our stay at the Kontena Hotel. Upon entering, we were greeted by friendly staff. Check-in was quick, so we didn't have to wait long to get to our room. The hotel's ambiance is pleasant, cool, Japanese-inspired, and clean. The room size and amenities are commensurate with the price. While Kontena is on the cheaper side compared to other hotels, we've found it offers a wide range of amenities. Among them is a kids-friendly swimming pool and a fun playground.

The hotel has a unique container-style design that’s both stylish and Instagram-worthy, but what stood out the most for us was how kids-friendly it is. Our daughter absolutely loved joining the cooking class where she decorated her own donuts! 🍩 She got to choose the toppings herself and proudly brought home her sweet creations.

The family room was clean, with complete amenities. For breakfast, I'd like to add more tables and chairs. Some guests didn't get a seat until I got one and finished breakfast. However, some of them were still enjoying their breakfast and seemed indifferent to the people who were struggling to find a seat. As for the food, there was a wide selection, but perhaps because of the holiday, a lot of it was already gone and scattered.

Overall nice compact hotel for family to stay in a near perfect vacation spot location. All staff are friendly and breakfast buffet menu tastes quite good. The only problem I personally face are with bedroom structure itself (TV position is too low for me and the bed itself probably softer than I thought, which makes it hard not to wake up the person next to me if I want to try to leave the bed) and pool area (let's just say the one on picture looks bigger in size than actual pool, I think it can be called kid's pool instead). But hey, this hotel is still worth the price and quality for your stay (reminder for me to pick twin bed instead of queen bed).
