Here's our experience during our stay at the Kontena Hotel. Upon entering, we were greeted by friendly staff. Check-in was quick, so we didn't have to wait long to get to our room. The hotel's ambiance is pleasant, cool, Japanese-inspired, and clean. The room size and amenities are commensurate with the price. While Kontena is on the cheaper side compared to other hotels, we've found it offers a wide range of amenities. Among them is a kids-friendly swimming pool and a fun playground.

The hotel has a unique container-style design that’s both stylish and Instagram-worthy, but what stood out the most for us was how kids-friendly it is. Our daughter absolutely loved joining the cooking class where she decorated her own donuts! 🍩 She got to choose the toppings herself and proudly brought home her sweet creations.

Every time I go to Malang, I always stay here. The rooms are kid-friendly, with no mattresses at the bottom, so it's safe for those with babies/toddlers, and they won't have to worry about their kids falling out while sleeping, hehe. The menu is all delicious and complete, and if you want noodles, you can have them. There's a noodle corner complete with condiments. The location is also strategic, so it's close to everywhere.

A unique hotel, it feels like we're staying in a container😁. The hotel's atmosphere is Japanese-style, with a fish garden, torii gates, a mini water park, a mini playground, and a ping-pong area. I'm in the family room, the Wi-Fi isn't connecting (out of 5 phones, only 1 can catch the Wi-Fi signal, and even then it's slow)... then there are lots of cockroaches from who knows where... I came here just out of curiosity.
