The hotel has a unique container-style design that’s both stylish and Instagram-worthy, but what stood out the most for us was how kids-friendly it is. Our daughter absolutely loved joining the cooking class where she decorated her own donuts! 🍩 She got to choose the toppings herself and proudly brought home her sweet creations.

I was worried because the check-in time was very late. Alhamdulillah, the friendly staff from the hotel helped me by phone, and upon arrival at the hotel I didn't have to wait long and could immediately rest. Likewise, the check-in time didn't have to wait long either. Even though the hotel was very busy. Overall, everything was very good. From the clean and fragrant room, the hotel environment that is extraordinary and pleasing to the eye, and also the friendliness of the staff. I won't get bored staying there. 🥰😊. I've stayed here several times and last year I was very happy with the facilities, but this year I was a bit disappointed because the variety of food provided was much reduced compared to last year, and in my opinion the taste has decreased compared to previous years. As for the refill, it's still fast, that's the only drawback that I think needs to be improved. The rest is okay, and the kidsfrenli area should be added if possible, because every year this hotel always has the most children according to my observation, so that the children will be happier staying here. Also, the storage space is very minimalist and there are only 3 hangers, so it's very lacking in my opinion.

I got a free dinner for two. The variety of food was quite good, but the taste was rather bland. For breakfast, the food was again quite varied and tasted quite good compared to the dinner food. For children over 4 years old, they pay IDR 50,000 (dinner), IDR 45,000 for breakfast. Whether it was because of the high season or that was the policy, it's a shame it wasn't stated in the room description, huhu, even though in other hotels, two children still get free breakfast. The room was cramped and I didn't expect it to be without a divan, which was purely due to my lack of attention.

The hotel is comfortable. The swimming pool is clean and spacious. The rooms are clean but not very spacious. The bathroom has adequate hot water and is clean. The only downside is the restaurant's food is expensive. In the future, the food should be more varied and affordable.

Kontena Hotel is located near from Jatim Park and Museum Angkut, makes this hotel very strategic for holiday around Batu. The staffs were friendly and capable. The food was okay. The room was small but comfortable. AC was very cold and the water heater worked properly. Definitely would stay here again. I ordered room at Dec and had to paid 700K something for one night stay.
