We visit Malang almost 4 times this semester to meet with our son who is in college at Brawijaya University. Besides being near a campus and his homestay in Malang, there are so many choices of culinary surrounding De Malang. The environment of this place is so pleasant, homey, and near the mosque too.

After staying in a so-so room in the previous hotel, this is definitely a huge step up! Love how comfy and clean the room is. Feels like you stay in your own house rather than in a hotel (well, it's actually a guest house, so yeah), the room smells so good. Even with the extra bed, still have a lot of room to move with 3 people in. Bathroom is clean and the water heater works well. Extra point for the cute friendly kittens around the house. Thanks Junggo Tentrem, you're on the top of the list of my hotel option when it came to staying in Malang 🥰

I was initially misled by the slightly eerie atmosphere of the courtyard, but once I entered the lobby, it felt like I was staying at my grandmother's house. It was homey, beautiful, and very serene. It felt like a well-maintained, hereditary building.
Highly recommended for a stopover and rest due to its peaceful and quiet atmosphere.
The rooms are simple but clean and comfortable. I would definitely love to come back.

The Alana Hotel Malang
The staff is friendly and I booked for 2 nights, upgraded the 1st night to premium deluxe so I didn't have to move rooms, the room was clean and Netflix was all running smoothly, this is my regular hotel when I go to Malang.
