A very spacious resort. Walking around the hotel area in the morning is a very interesting activity. The accommodations are mainly villas scattered among the pine trees. In the morning, the resort area is shrouded in mist. Non-villa rooms are located in a traditional house-like building. The upper floor of this traditional house is a meeting hall, while the rooms are located downstairs, requiring descending stairs; there is no elevator. It seems quite difficult for older people. The swimming pool is located amidst the garden and pine trees. Cleanliness is good. Drones are allowed on the hotel grounds. I didn't try the food. The gym is no longer functional.

Mrs. Endah, thank you for your hospitality. The owner was very kind to give me directions to the guest house even though I was still on the train. This location is only a 5-minute walk from Malang station, and if you want breakfast in the morning at Klojen market, it's a 10-minute walk. When I stayed at Tumpak Sewu, I was surprised to find my room cleaned and the blanket and towels were also replaced with new ones. It seems like it's very rare to find a guest house with this kind of service. Anyway, if I come to Malang, I will stay here again 👍👍👍

The Dawala is perfect for holiday, nice view and fresh air from elevation 1100 above mean sea level will give a great experience of glamping (glamorous campung). The premium rooms also have a refrigerator, hot water for showers, and the staff is friendly. The price is affordable for the facilities provided.

Perfect place to stay with your husband/wife, quiet and safe. The staff and security quickly helped us when in need. We also came in the middle of the night and they secured our motorbike with a chain so it’s pretty safe. Room service was decent, it was pleasant.
