Very impressive, the room is nice and can be upgraded to a pool and waterboom view, the toilet has a bidet which is very comfortable, the breakfast is very complete and delicious, the hotel is in a mall area which is very easy to shop, the service is friendly and fast.

The atmosphere is peaceful, the smell is pleasant, and the room and bathroom facilities and furnishings are nice and well-maintained. The bed is a large size. My first and very pleasant experience, the photos match the condition of the room. The room was clean, the AC was cold, the water was clean. Bottled water, tea, sugar, coffee, and creamer were always refilled every day. Towels and mats were always replaced with clean ones every day. I don't regret staying 7 nights here. The restaurant is luxurious, the food is delicious and complete, I gained weight 😂. I really like it here. The staff are friendly and polite. In the room there is a TV with Netflix service, making the kids feel at home in the room. Top markotop 🥰. Thank you Grand Jatra Hotel Balikpapan. A pleasant and unforgettable experience.

Overall Everything is great, Upon arrival the security greeted us with friendliness then assisted by the reception staff the check in process was fast without any hassle, the breakfast was varied and delicious. The cozyness of this hotel with the friendliness of the staff makes the aura of this hotel come alive and cheerful, thank you Mr. Rafli the receptionist for his 5 star hospitality with jokes during check in making the feeling of tiredness immediately disappear plus the calm and cozy atmosphere of the room. have stayed 3 times and the staff are consistent with their friendliness and will be a regular every time I go to Balikpapan! I've actually stayed at Novotel several times, but this was my first time with my family. Thank God, it was a very pleasant experience. Friendly service, spacious rooms, and well-functioning facilities. Finding food at night is also easy because it's close to Bekapai Park and several other cafes within a radius of less than 500 meters. In the morning, breakfast was delicious. Novotel's strengths are definitely its delicious breakfast and diverse menu options, from Western to Eastern to Indonesian. The only downside is the gym access, as it's currently under renovation, hehe. Hopefully, next time I come here, I'll be able to use all the facilities.

Spent the week in the city trying 4 hotels, including 4-star hotels. Out of these hotels, we would definitely choose to stay here again if in Balikpapan. The hotel is only 3 stars and quite old, but we were very surprised at the renovation they did to the room. It was super comfy. The size itself was more spacious than the average hotel rooms and everything went well. There was no problem with the AC, water faucets, cleanliness, etc. We only complained that the last guest had smoked in the room, and the receptionist quickly called to treat the room. Thank you for the service!
