It's perfect for Backpacker and you are directly at the Mainstreet where all the restaurants, shops, bars and Clubs are. The bugalows are quite big and very clean! Especially Ermanang, the guy running this homestay, made our stay perfect and was always there when you need something. Thank you so much, Bro!

It was a spontaneous stay at Sama Sama Bungalow. First of all, it was located in the heart of Gili T. Very close to both harbors. I like the bar and the food served in there. The bar always has reggae live music performances at night, but the soundproof was good that I could not hear it from our room.
The hotel is behind the bar, but it was very quiet, so we could rest very well. We booked an hour before check-in, so we got a room with one queen bed and one twin bed. The bathroom is semi-outdoor, so you can bathe when it's raining, lol, cool!
Overall, I enjoyed staying in Sama Sama Bungalow.

In terms of cleanliness, comfort & services, this place is very very satisfying! The room is actually much nicer & cleaner than in the photos. It was such an unforgettable honeymoon stay in here for us at Gili Air. We unexpectedly got complimentary of switching room to the Scallywags Mango Retreat which is more quiet and secluded. They have crazy friendly staffs there :) The food in the Scallywags restaurant was really delicious too! They have a very romantic spot in the beach to have a dinner under the stars. Definitely gonna stay there again if we were staying in Gili 😊

Scallywag Beach Club Gili Air
