Located in strategic location because the hotel is close to Malioboro, train station, and several tourist attractions. This is the first time I've stayed at a hotel which provided prayer mat, Al-Quran and Bible.

I checked in at the Kumbokarno Hotel on October 3, 2025, at 11:50 PM WIB. The reception was very friendly, and I received a welcome drink of mango and avocado juice, packaged in elegant small bottles with a delicious taste. At that hour, the staff, dressed in neat uniforms, politely escorted me to my room, opened the door, ensured all the facilities were working, and then invited me to rest. The Wi-Fi signal was strong, and the TV provided the freedom to choose what I wanted to watch.
I chose the breakfast package, which offered a simple but delicious menu and fresh food. The restroom was spacious and clean, with no unpleasant odors.
Upon check-out, I was greeted with friendly service. Overall, I was very satisfied. For the affordable price, I received excellent service.

The hotel staff was very friendly, even arriving in the middle of the night, they were welcomed. The room was okay, the facilities were quite complete, the price was pocket-friendly, the location was strategic, close to Tugu Station, only 500 meters, and there were motorbike rentals at the hotel. I was quite satisfied with my stay here, maybe I'll stay here again if I go to Jogja again.

I had a pleasant experience staying at Amartya Hotel. I stayed in the 38sqm room for three nights and moved to the 50sqm on the fourth night. The room is super spacious and the decoration is industrialist theme. The room was clean as well. I especially liked the in-room breakfast service thus I didn't have to eat in a crowded restaurant. They better keep this service even though the pandemic is almost over. Communication with the hotel was through Whatsapp and honestly, it is much better than keep calling them via phone. One thing to note is I hope they insulate the windows better to reduce noise from a nearby mosque. Fortunately, the hotel provided earplugs for only Rp 10,000 a pair

It was a great decision to stay here, as the atmosphere was truly serene. It's perfect for those seeking tranquility, as it's located off a main road, so it's quiet, yet still easily accessible. I was traveling solo and used a motorcycle taxi (ojek) to get around, and the fare was relatively affordable because it's relatively close to the tourist destinations I wanted to visit. There are plenty of food stalls around the guesthouse, making it easy to find dinner. The staff were also friendly and helpful. Thank you, Sonosewu Guesthouse.

When I first arrived, the staff were very kind and friendly, seeing that I was with my parents, they gave me a room downstairs so I wouldn't have to climb the stairs. The room was spacious, there was a water heater and toiletries were provided, the wifi was also quite smooth. Overall, I was satisfied staying here because it was quite close to Malioboro and the station, and yesterday I also got a fairly cheap price ⭐⭐⭐⭐
