The first thing that made me feel at home: as soon as I entered the hotel, the atmosphere felt incredibly serene. Perfect for healing. It was truly a treat for the eyes!
Furthermore, the check-in process was super easy and fast. There were no hassles or long waits. This was all thanks to the friendly hotel staff. From the receptionist to the person helping with luggage, their smiles were genuine and the service was top-notch.
Overall, this hotel is a must-try if you're looking for a peaceful stay with five-star service, but with a warm vibe. Recommended!

The most friendly and excellent service local hotel that I ever stay. I love all, i.e., the ambiance, the rooms, the facilities, the foods, and services. I would like to give appreciation to Mbak Alia and Mbak Alvi for their services when I did my breakfast every day during my stay in Padma Semarang. I only stayed here for 1 night and very enjoyed the hotel. what I loved from this hotel is the skypool and their breakfast menu. They have a lot of menu to try. View from skyline while we eat our breakfast was so refreshing. Taste of the food all great, no wonder if this hotel awarded with best food hotel back in 2019. The room was clean. All staff were friendly and informative. Will be back here for sure. Keep the good work!

For its price range, I can confidently recommend this particular hotel especially for solo travelers on a budget. I stayed in a standard single bed room and even with a breakfast, it was still far reasonably cheaper than other similar hotel rooms without a breakfast option and the breakfast was even a buffet style! The room that I stayed in may not look brand new but it was clean and comfortable. The AC was cool and working well while the hot water in the shower worked as intended.
While I have not gotten a chance to fully experience the other facilities yet, I was still impressed with other offers such as laundry service and spa. From the hotel, you could easily walk to Paragon Mall too!

I'm so happy to stay in the first night at Holiday Inn Express Semarang in room 1206, that's why I decided to extend another one night here. The cleanliness is excellent. The only problem is only coming from 2 things. 1st coming from the smell from the towel. Before I used the smell was like mold. And 2nd the guy in the front office not so nice compared to the girls and the young guy (I forgot his name, but I think he is the older) maybe it because when I coming to the reception I was wearing short pants, flip flop, and mess shirt. As a person who also works in hospitality please do not classify people by how they look. The guest is always a guest. Don't show them any fake smiles. But overall I love the food, the cleanliness, the security system from the entrance is amazing.
