Our group of 2 kids and 2 adults (Mum and Grandma) stayed 3 nights. We wish we'd stayed longer, or transferred from Kuta earlier. We stayed in the 2 bedroom villa with private pool, and felt the whole experience was restful and relaxing. The pool was lovely, and the set up of the villa with 2 separate bedrooms and an open living space was nice. The property is quite secluded but does still have a bit of local traffic/activity noise as the villa is located at the front. That would be something to consider if you are fussy sleepers. However, most of the noise was actually wildlife-related, including some friendly frogs and birds. We found this quite charming and it added to the 'retreat' feel. The property is a little out of the way, only a short distance from the town centre by readily-available taxi. However, we noted that exploring on foot was quite treacherous for children and older people, given busy traffic and complete lack of road berm/pedestrain pavements in the area. Great things about this property are the lovely staff, beautiful private villa pool, sense of privacy and tranquility, friendly wildlife, spacious villa, lots of hot water for showers, comfortable beds with mosquito nets, air conditioning, clean facilities. The main thing to be wary of is the fragile plumbing system (very standard in Bali). But with correct procedure, things are fine. Also note that the self catering equipment is very limited. But who wants to cook on holiday anyway? Would recommend.

I booked a suite for 5 nights and decided to extend because I really liked it. A little bit outside of Ubud but easily accessible by scooter, and there are a few shops and restaurants within walking distance. Everyone working here was super friendly and my room was beautiful. The rooms are only accessible through stairs which might be an issue for some people. A water fountain at reception would be nice to have, but that is really the only potential improvement I can think of. Overall, I would really recommend staying here!

Stayed one night in transit. Had emailed hotel in advance to let them know that my arrival time would be after midnight due to a late flight and they confirmed that the checkin was available. On arrival to the hotel at about 1:30am I could not find anyone despite ringing bells and phone. It was lucky that another guest was leaving on a very early tour and they pointed out the hotel staff room - my driver managed to wake the staff. Apart from that the hotel is okay. Room was okay although when I dropped an item behind a cupboard, on retrieving it I found a lot of dirt and dead insects and dried out food.

This place is suitable for those who would like to live in a jungle setting and those who just need an accomodation to sleep and to place their things. In short, I didn't enjoy my stay as the place is secluded and I feel like I was staying in the middle of the jungle and if you're ok with a soggy surrounding( it rains alot there) then this is your place. However, what I really liked about that place is the staff's humility and friendliness. They were really wonderful.

The villa was in a great condition and the staff was amazing. We booked 2 rooms for 3 people and the rooms were huge and spacious. Only thing is that they didn't serve a lot of food when we were there during the evenings and we're only able to serve us fried rice and noodles which was disappointing. They also do not have lights in the drive way/path. But anyway we had a nice time staying there.

Friendly staff, breakfast to your room. Very well priced. Recommend getting scooter to explore area. Shuttle at 11 and 2100 then on request for a small fee. 10 mins to ubud centre, well located close enough to town with transport but very quiet setting. Left out of main driveway will take you through beautiful rice paddies. We travelled with our 3 year old daughter, middle villas have grass area. Bali home cooking walking distance and great cheap eat, close to bridges, Indus and elephant room for nice restuarants.

I was very impressed with the hotel staff Indah- who said she was worried about me not having dinner one night because I was ill. The breakfast was brought to my room every morning and the food was good. The bed was the biggest bed I'd ever seen! The bathroom had good facilities and the room was clean. The pool area was small for a communal space- only 2 sun loungers. Luckily- it was never busy when I was there. A downside was that the free hotel shuttle only runs twice a day- 11am or 9pm. You can be collected at other times, but need to pay 50,000rupiah ( about £2.50). The taxi driver was just 17 and was not experienced- knocking someone's wing mirror and then pressuring me to get on the back of his scooter- but otherwise ok. There did not seem to be anywhere local to have food or drinks at lunch or at night, but there is a kettle in the room. I would stay here again if you're after a peaceful retreat.

Loved my time at this location. Although it's a bit of a cardio to get there and out again. It was well worth it. The location is so close to the nature that the wilderness is just a door away. Getting to sleep in the comfort of a hotel room to wake up to the sound and breeze of the jungle out of the front door and enjoy a simple but healthy breakfast coupled with a magnificent view. The staff is extremely friendly, helpful and respectful. They will surely do everything in their power to accommodate any possible requests.

We absolutely loved our stay at this villa! This small family run hotel has 5 well appointed rooms with the biggest cushiest bed I’ve ever slept in in Asia! The room had air con that worked great, plenty of furniture for suitcases, a safe, water kettle, tv, and nice lighting options including bedside reading lamps. The bathroom is large with bidet toilet seat and they even provide huge thick towels and lotion and toothbrush. The grounds are lush and beautiful with spirt temples and paved walkways. Breakfast is served on the balcony overlooking their beautiful pool. I loved swimming after breakfast. The staff is super friendly and helpful, excellent service. We rented scooters from them and they also arraigned for tours and transport via car and boat to other destinations. The price is unbeatable! An excellent value! I would come back to Ubud just to stay in this awesome guest house and highly recommend it.

Otherwise, breakfast was great, the staff very helpful and obliging and we enjoyed our time there.

I only had 2 issues with the villas There was a bad smell in our room/bathroom. Room 4 I believe. Also the villa dinner menu was unreliable and we were never sure what was available and what wasn’t so re resorted to the local delivery resto, Fuzion. Otherwise, breakfast was great, the staff very helpful and obliging and we enjoyed our time there.
