We stayed on our first and last nights in Ireland. Beautiful hotel in fantastic location- walking distance to restaurants, shops, pubs. Our first room was pretty small but the overall charm and location of the hotel made up for it. Very charming rooms and excellent breakfast. The cafe and pub are very nice as well. Easy check in/out. Lovely staff. Would definitely stay here again.

Because of our flight timing we arrived at 2 and our room wasn’t ready as checkin is at 4. The reception person tagged and put our luggage in temp storage and showed us the bar. Since we had only had and early light breakfast, we got lunch. Very nice. Friendly staff. Then they moved our luggage to our room. Very nice room!

We had two wonderful stays at the Mercantile Hotel in Dublin. It's a newer property so it should be clean and looking good, but on top of that the staff were absolutely top notch, and the location is tough to beat. Highly recommend!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The hotel’s design is beautiful, with elegant finishes that create a sophisticated and upscale atmosphere. Despite its very central location, it was remarkably quiet and peaceful. The front desk team was warm, welcoming, and always helpful. A special thank you to the breakfast team for an outstanding breakfast experience each morning. We would happily stay here again.

The hotel was lovely but unfortunately our first floor room was above a VERY noisy bar and we had to be moved - when I asked politely the guy on reception said I should have a word with the DJ !! So much for customer service ! The girls on reception did move us to the third floor which was quieter but we could still feel the thud ! Also if you pay these prices a bottle of water on each night would be just ok !! Nice enough hotel with great showers , but I wouldn’t stay there again !

Hotel was great overall. ONLY issue was how small the room was. I've stayed in other major cities with hotels in older buildings, and what I thought were small rooms, but this one was the smallest. No where to put luggage or get ready besides the bathroom. Not a huge issue because we weren't on Dublin to hang out in the room, but it was frustrating at times. Would still stay here again though.

Compact room in one of the most central locations in Dublin, incredibly convenient for almost anywhere. The staff were super helpful and friendly. I stayed in Room 118. It was small but it was fine for my short stay. The bathroom was nice and there was a great shower and nice soft towels, including facecloths! Didn't have breakfast as there are lots of dining options in the vicinity.
