Nice stay right in heart of Dublin and temple bar area is a straight short walk. Very clean, breakfast was the best we had in our entire trip to Ireland and so plentiful. The only odd thing was the check in-it was a self service kiosk where you had to create your own room keys but there were 3 staff standing 5 ft away from you at a desk who did not help but watched you? The kiosk did not tell you if you pre booked breakfast, what time the breakfast was served nor when the check out time was. We checked in and then had to ask all these usually provided questions. Rooms are small, but typical and clean. No iron or board in the room only a steam machine. All in all, great for sleeping, clean, efficient hotel close to everything.

Loved the hotel the staff and the area

This place is an absolute gem. The property is uniquely decorated, well kept, comfortable, and the staff is very professional. We stayed two nights (over St. Patrick's Day), and even though it was an absolute madhouse outside-- you wouldn't know it once you walked through the hotel doors. 10/10 recommend!

Staff were very nice and helpful, and the location of the hotel was excellent! Everything we wanted to do was within at most a 15 min walk. Dinner at the hotel was also very professional and delicious. Will most likely book again when I return to Dublin.

So easy to take the Dublin Express close to the hotel from airport. Room was SO CUTE and staff gave us a room with an amazing view for our anniversary!! Would 10/10 stay here again. Bar was also amazing and drinks yummy!! Location makes everything walkable !

Wonderful staff- prime location for visiting Dublin

This hotel was one of the best hotels my husband and I have stayed in. It is the perfect location and walking distance to everything in Dublin. Rooms were clean and tidy, beautiful ambience. Cafe, bar, and food were wonderful! Daily breakfast was delicious. Check in/out was fast and simple Fancy ambience and the price was just right. Staff and doorman were sweet and gave out wonderful recommendations. Would recommend staying here! It's in the heart of Dublin and definitely a great place to stay! Thank you!

Incredible Hotel, Bar, & Restaurant!!! Seriously. Amazing location and great staff. This is my third trip to the Mercantile, and it’s where I stay in Dublin. The breakfast are amazing as well!

Shops, restaurants, everything nearby. Quiet, lots of light, nice decoration and attentive staff.
