We had a truly wonderful stay at the Golden Hotel in Naples! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and hospitality that made us feel at home right away. The hotel is perfectly located, just steps away from many of Naples’ main attractions, restaurants, and shops, making it an excellent base to explore the city. The atmosphere is cozy and modern, with everything spotless and well taken care of. The staff were exceptional – always kind, attentive, and ready to help with anything we needed. Their recommendations for places to visit and dine made our trip even more special. Breakfast was delicious, with plenty of fresh and tasty options to start the day. The hotel is small, as was my room, and the breakfast room was under repair, so a bountiful continental breakfast, including rolls, cereal, fruit, juice and coffee was served on the small space available on my desk. Main complaint" no TV channels in English, like CNN or BBC. This is uncommon, yet 1 out of 3 of my hotels seemed not to care that most foreign tourists, not just US and Brits, use English for travel. The bathroom, though large, had no toilet paper holder, attributed to a destructive former guest. Also, no soap holder in the shower, but manager Patrizia put a chair in the bathroom so it wasn't necessary to bend to the floor. Antonio at the desk was great and informative. Staff mostly very helpful.

We stayed 2 nights at this property in Naples before heading to Sorrento. We arrived late, at almost midnight but I called the property while in the taxi to let them know and the gentlemen was very kind and waited for us to arrive. We were checked in quickly and efficiently and also pre-ordered our breakfast which would be delivered to our room. The AC was off when we entered so it took awhile for the room to cool down, but it eventually did. The bathroom was nice and big with good water pressure. The room itself was very small but it met all of our needs and was clean and comfortable. It was a bit noisy but that was to be expected being right in the city. The breakfast was delicious and delivered right on time at the time we requested. There is also parking right next door if you need that.

This hotel is pretty rundown . I could see how it’s used be a nice hotel , but not any more . Had issue with air conditioner 2 times in one day we stayed there . Tried to call front desk about air conditioner issue , room phone did not work . End up going downstairs to report issue to the clerk . Shower door wasn’t closing properly , was off the rails . Walls looked pretty used with huge scratches all over . Just had that feeling of something that hasn’t been maintained well . I understand various stuff are expected to brake down from time to time . It was just too many small thighs that were broken . On the positive side . Stuff was very nice and professional. Planty of soap and shampoo and few other disposable items . Parking is paid as expected , right next to hotel with in and out privileges .

I barely ever write reviews or complain, but We would never stay at this hotel again. We put clean room sign on door and when we arrived back to hotel the room was not cleaned at all. Next day when i told manager that room was not cleaned and if we can have 30 minutes extra checkout time, they wamted to charge us 30 euros and did not care that our room did not get cleaned and manager called our room at exact check out time and said we can not stay 1 minutes longer. And hotel was not even full. Checkout is at 10.30am horrible. Complimentary breakfast was days old pastries, hard boil your own eggs in a plastic container, eggs cooked on a portable burner., had no ice, no luggage room, receptionist sleeping at entrance and all dark, rooms old and dungy, very small side street with garbage , homeless people, cars with broken windows etc. Not recommended at all to stay at hotel like this and also to be treated badly from hotel personnel. Many many better and cheaper places to stay in Napoli and that value their clients. AVOID THIS HOTEL.

We didn’t feel welcoming in the Hotel,s restarant. Staff talked á lot between ếach other ỏr watched TV. Sometimes they watched what we choose to eat. Fruits was covered with flyes, sơme cakes wasn,t cut in portions, We wish you to be more friendly and smile more to your visitors.

This small hotel was well located in Naples and most major attractions in the centre of town are within walking distance. The hotel was clean and quiet and the rooms are spacious if a little dark. The day receptionists speak good English (if you do not speak Italian) but this is not the case with the night staff. The breakfast is good for a hotel at this price point and the staff were friendly. Altogether entirely acceptable given the star category and the price and I would consider staying here again.

Very clean room and shower! They had a breakfast. The rooms had teapots and tea, but I didn’t see any wayer. The front desk clerk a female was not very friendly and unable to understand when I asked how much time will it take to get to the airport when she asked if we needed tramsport. At 4:30am when I left the fromt door area was pitch black and the front desk person appeared to be sleeping as he did not come to help me as I struggled with my bags. The doors in the room slide closed and I was unable to lock the door right away as I heard a mans voice behind me. I tried several times and it seemed to lock on a timer as the guy helped pushed the door closed for me.
