The bathroom was smaller than most. I am not a newbie to traveling and recognize that around the world 3 stars means different things. It was clean but no elevator made it challenging luckily we were on 2nd floor. The access to the train station though was great.

Overall, this hotel is an excellent choice for travelers looking for convenience rather than luxury. Its biggest advantage is its location, just steps away from the Santa Maria Novella train station, making it incredibly easy to travel around Florence and beyond.
The hotel offers the essentials without any unnecessary frills. There are several restaurants and a grocery store nearby, and the historic center of Florence is only about a 15-minute walk away. The location is truly one of the hotel’s strongest points.
The staff was very friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help. We appreciated their kindness throughout our stay.
The only downside was the housekeeping service. During our five-day stay, whenever we returned to the hotel around 4:00 or 5:00 PM, the housekeeper was still cleaning our room. It appeared that there was only one housekeeper responsible for all the rooms, which can become challenging when the hotel is fully booked. As a result, room cleaning was often delayed and guests may have to wait before accessing their rooms comfortably.
That said, the hotel’s excellent location, friendly staff, and overall convenience make it a great option for anyone visiting Florence.

Absolutely terrible stay. The room was disgusting from the moment we arrived. There were mosquitos everywhere, ants crawling around the room, and a constant smell of sewage coming from the bathroom. The bathroom itself was filthy, mould all over the walls and shower, dirt everywhere, and clearly not cleaned properly in a long time.
The bed wasn’t clean either, with hairs all through the bedding which was honestly revolting. The walls throughout the room were blackened, damaged, and badly maintained. To make things worse, it was obvious the room hadn’t even been cleaned before we checked in because there was still a welcome note and other belongings/items left behind from the previous guest.
If this is considered a 3-star hotel in Florence, I’d hate to see what a 1 or 2-star hotel looks like. It’s clear this place got its 3-star rating years ago and has done absolutely nothing to maintain any sort of standard since then.
Would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Stay away! Honestly the streets would probably be a safer and cleaner option!

Hotel is adjacent to a heavily used city bus terminus. Across the street from one of Florence’s nicer steakhouses. There was outdoor disturbance each night, including yelling and fisticuffs by locals Clean room, beds are comfortable. Wifi was ok. Our shower door broke while we were there. Staff was helpful, but there is irregular staff coverage during the day so luggage storage has to be offsite or not secured while at the hotel. No evening staff present.

Bar? What bar? No bar to be found. Mold in the shower area/bathroom. Shoe prints on the wall? No breakfast (don't listen to Google). When we got to our room, we had no hand soap in there at all. LOUD outside. I know they can't control traffic and people on the street, but any "soundproofing" advertised is definitely not accurate. Shower at night or EARLY am if you want hot water. Staff were very nice and we did appreciate them, but the hotel needs work.

It was a great place for us for our last minute trip. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. We traveled with an infant and they were able to accommodate us with a crib for the baby during our stay which was very helpful! The room was clean with fresh sheets and towels, however there was a dirty semi- wet towel in the bathroom behind the door when we checked into the room. Housekeeping did come by daily and there were no other issues with cleanliness at all. The A/C unit was not functioning and we were told that even though they were mini splits that they were not on and the floor was controlled, we were able to cool the room with the windows open but there were quite a few mosquitoes. Some other reviews complained of lots of noise, but we didn’t experience too much noise other than some noise from the trains and the bus stop directly in front of the hotel. There was no noise during bedtime hours or any during the early morning. The listing for the property did show that there was free breakfast but the hotel did not offer this at all. There are two cafes on either side of the hotel which we were able to have breakfast. We would definitely stay again here again and did enjoy our stay overall.
