Great staff. Clean room

This property is more like a hostel than a hotel. Do not stay here if you are looking for any onsite service or amenities. Nothing described in the listing was available when we stayed. We were looking for a very last minute place to stay in Florence. I booked this hotel because the listing described on site parking, breakfast and coffee in the lobby, a bar and lounge and it was in a desirable area. There were many positive reviews so I overlooked the negative ones. The room was very dirty. There was hair and other filth all over the bathroom, the walls, shower and mirror were very dirty. The floors in the room were also dirty and the blankets for the beds were also covered in hair. There is only a staff member on site from 3-6pm, everything else needs to be communicated through WhatsApp and that is unreliable and some questions went unanswered. When I asked the staff about the discrepancies between the listing and the property I was told that the listing was for a previous property the owner owned and the things I was asking about were not available. Additionally, the room keys for all guests were all left on a table unattended in the lobby along with forms that clearly displayed guests first and last names, which was a serious safety concern for us as two women travelling together. I would not recommend this property to anyone.

The hotel was very easy to walk to from the train station, even with a lot of luggage. The check in process was simple and the man at the front desk was super friendly and helpful. The room was clean and has everything you need. Plus the AC works well and the windows are very good at keeping at the street noise. The AC unit did make a noise in the middle of the night. But by then the room was cool enough. So we were able to turn it off and go back to sleep. Overall, a very good place to stay overnight and I would book it again.

These people had an attitude about everything. Most hotels I’ve been to have some sort of iron or steamer available. When I got there, I asked the front desk if they had an iron. They found one for me, which was great. My friend and I stayed for about four nights. On our third day the front desk asked us if we still need the iron because another guest needs it. We said “yeah, they can use it today, but we would like to have another iron tomorrow if possible.” Apparently, these people only have one iron for the whole building. When we asked to have another iron provided to us, they caught an attitude and said that we already had the iron for two days so essentially no, we couldn’t get it back. I told them I had no idea that the iron was supposed to be returned that quickly. I would’ve been mindful and ironed all my clothes immediately had I known. But nobody communicated that to me. When I reached out to the person for whom I had the WhatsApp number about the iron issue, he sent one of his staff members without properly communicating what the issue was. So the staff member comes to my door in a rush, asking me in a panic what was wrong. I looked at him confused and I said I was just waiting on the iron. He then gets an attitude with me as if he couldn’t be bothered. He said another guest was using it. I said “OK so you guys can take the iron from us when someone else needs it but now that I need it, you won’t ask for a back?“ essentially penalizing for their bad communication

The rooms are perfect but outside the hotel it felt dirty and unsafe because of the bus station

Hotel is 2 min walk from train station which was convenient. We found the photos looked nothing like the room we stayed in. If you have luggage, be warned as there are no elevators. We found the bed to be uncomfortable and the bathroom was not to standard (shower door was coming off and there was mold)

It is a great location and great space, no elevators but doable. Good AC and bed, staff was very nice, especially Julia was very helpful and super nice and welcoming.

The property is under construction and the entrance is dirty. Location is great bedside the bus and train terminal. Main floor room you hear all the street noise and the main door opening and closing at all hours. It’s a great location to travel around other towns near Florence. It’s convenient and budget friendly. Staff were great and very helpful.

Right next to the train station. Easy access to most of the city attractions. Good price and only great for a short stay like one or two days. Property is nicer!!

This hotel was clean and close to dining options close to Santa Maria Novella. Being across from the train station, it helped with settling into our trip fast. Would stay here again.

Great choice near train station

This was a bad experience. Really, the only positive side to this property is the location near the train station. The condition of the building is bad. If you have heavy bags get ready to lift them up by yourself because there is no elevator - only a lot of steep stairs. The only relatively good experience was with the lady that cleans the rooms. Toilet was broken and it leaked. Bed sheets were not clean. You can readily notice that they never wash the bed decorations. There was a really bad sewer smell at the entrance, and the hotel is right in front of 2 bus stops so the noise starts from the very early morning. If you get the first floor room you are in bad luck because of the lack of insulation to the weather and to the sound. Staff service is so limited. The hotel's owner does not afford a full-time staff so if you find yourself needing something you are in bad luck because the staff is rarely there. If you are smart - you will stay away from this property.

We stayed at Bella Firenze during our Italy trip with kids in Sep 2024. Hotel is walking distance from train station, has good facilities and staff , spacious room. Recommend this hotel for stay in Florence.
