Hotel City in Florence was overall excellent. All of the reception staff were friendly, professional, and very helpful in most things we needed.The room was clean, updated, roomy. The shower was a decent size with plenty of hot water and good pressure. Unfortunately, we could not sleep because the air conditioner had not been turned on after a winter break

Hotel is conveniently located, very close to the train station, the area is very walkable. The room itself is very small. We’re only stay here for one night so we don’t mind it, the room does not have any ventilation system, when you open the window, it was very loud outside, mosquito flying in in the middle of the night. They kept the hotel very clean, staff is very friendly. There is a coffee bar area, but they’re closed most of the day. And mostly are used to store luggage’s.

Staff were lovely. Room was clean and comfortable just don’t expect to sleep with the window open. We made this mistake our first night and were kept awake all night by drunks yelling in the streets. The next night we made sure the window was closed and the sound of the AC drowned it out. It is very conveniently located to the train station and all the central sites are very close by.

Well located friendly hotel. The reception are on duty 24 hours. Very helpful with recommendations for eating/ places to visit.
Make sure to check your room's bathroom situation as our bathroom was private and across the hallway, sink was provided in the room.
Room quite small but sufficient if you are busy and out most the time.
Wi-fi wasn't great at busy times (evenings)

Property is located close to the Dome, within walking distance to all major attractions, great food options, In a safe and lively location. I visited Florence for 3 days, used only public transit and walked everywhere.

The property is older furnishings but in great condition, very clean. We interacted with multiple members of the staff and they were all lovely. It was easy access from the train station especially in the rain. It was exactly what I expected and I was happy with our stay.

Excellent and accommodating staff. As a solo traveler, I felt safe in and around the property.
Although outside it was very busy during the day, in the room at night, it was very quiet with the windows closed.
A wide variety of restaurants directly outside and within a short walking distance of the hotel.
I would definitely return to stay at this hotel.

We recently stayed at this hotel in Florence, and overall, it was a pleasant experience. The hotel was very clean, and the location was fantastic—perfect for exploring the city. The staff were also friendly and helpful. However, I must mention that there was quite a bit of noise during my stay, mainly due to construction work that the hotel is currently undergoing. It was a bit disruptive at times, but I understand that it’s temporary. If you’re a light sleeper, it might be something to consider. Still, the convenience and cleanliness of the hotel made it a good choice for our trip!
