Hotel Cristallo

The location of this property was ideal as we were there to watch our son compete at the Special Olympics Worlds! We were within walking distance to the ski hill, restaurants and many shops. Didn't even have to use our rental as it was safely parked in the underground parking through the hotel. The only thing better than the location was the staff!!! My bad if i spell names wrong but Luka from the afternoon shift was amazing. He set us up with reservations for dinners at places that were so amazing, that i can't thank him enough. If you get the opportunity to go to Sestriere and get to have the privilege to stay at this hotel, do it!

stayed for 5 nights with my adult son for a 5 day ski trip. it iwas an ideal hotel for a boys trip. we rented a junior suite with two double beds with a glorius view of the mountain and the cig-roc lift. the main entry and ticket office to the sestriere ski resort is directly across the street from the hotel. the ski check is below the ski ticket office so that was an added plus! we drove to the hotel rather than take a complex blend of trains and buses and with car rental prices so cheap in milan airport it came out to about the same price for two of us. the breakfast is ok. nothing cooked but enough to get by. the staff were kind and wonderful people. the only reason i gave 4 star is because the hotel feels dated but that was also charming. if skiing is your main object and you want to be as close to ski in/.ski out in a comfortable setting that doesnt break th bank, this is your best bet.

This is the perfect place to stay in Sestriere for skiers since the bus stop, ski rentals, lift tickets, ski lifts & restaurants are so close.

Staff were very friendly and helpful, the location of the hotel is the best in Sestriere.

A very nice hotel, friendly service and a very nice restaurant. Excellent location near the ski lifts. The room facing the street had a wonderful view but was somewhat noisy.

Amazing location, great hotel with friendly staff and fantastic restaurant. If staying in Sestrierre this has to be your first choice!

Good facilities / car parking . Boot room could have heated and ventilated boot racks but was fine. Spa temperatures could be warmer but these minor points are nitpicking. The staff were fantastic, helpful, kind and did everything to accomodate the guests. Prices were reasonable. Excellent .

The Location is great - a few steps from the snow and the shops/restaurants area. Rooms, "SPA", and front desk service are quite basic but rooms were clean and comfortable. Great breakfast.

great place to stay in Sestriere if you want to get to the lifts crossing the road and access local amenities with a 2min walk. friendly staff. little bit old fashioned facilities and decoration.

Hotel rooms getting tired now - shower leaked. Average food in restaurant but staff all friendly and good.

We stayed here for only night but found the hotel to be very comfortable. The reception was great, very friendly and informative. The room was large enough with a king bed. The only negative would have to be the ensuite. Very small. Overall a good place to put your head.

Fantastic hotel, fantastic location!!! You couldn't be any closer to the slopes without staying on the slopes. Very nice hotel, great facilities. Huge choice for breakfast. Rocco in the bar is a star. Some people have moaned about how hot it is in the rooms and yes it was warm but if you open the window a little it's fine..... Who'd have thought that......

Feb 2015 - We've just got back from staying at Hotel Cristallo for a long weekend ski trip. The hotel is in a perfect location for skiing with the ticket office directly opposite and the lifts less than 50m away. The hotel is very clean with good rooms and showers. The steam room and sauna are a great addition after a day on the slopes, agree with others that the hot tub could be warmer but used it after the steam room so fine. We had a meal at the restaurant which was a very pleasant experience and the value was exceptional. Will be back next year.
