This was an amazing stay. The hotel is located a minute away from st Marco square and many great shops and restaurants. Getting there from the airport water shuttle was a breeze and navigating the public transit to the train station was also fairly easy from this location. The rooms were clean and well decorated and maintained. The front desk staff were exceptional. I would recommend this stay to anyone staying in Venice. They also have bag check service to any of their guest getting there early or leaving later for free.

Hotel Montecarlo is in an excellent location, just off St. Mark’s Piazza in a quiet area. It was easy to walk to nearby sites and restaurants from the hotel. Check-in was smooth, and the staff was very welcoming. While the room was small, it was comfortable and clean. The breakfast offered a great variety of options. I would not hesitate to stay at Hotel Montecarlo again in the future.

I beautiful boutique hotel in the heart of Venice. Situated just 40 seconds walk from St Marks Square, it was ideal for my wife Sarah and I because we love the vibe of Venice , if you’re looking for a great location this is it. The staff are fantastic, the bedrooms spotless and very comfortable beds and pillows , air con is great. We would recommend for sure.

Extremely friendly and accommodating staff. The location was superb for a central Venice stay. Room was well furnished and the aircon was appreciated as you'd need the windows closed as you are very central; noise from tourists outside in the evening. Not a criticism of the hotel. We didn't try breakfast but the bar was happy to brings drinks and nibbles to the room.

The hotel was in a perfect location & very well maintained. The room was very comfortable, quiet, great bed. The hotel arranged for out water taxi from the airport & to the train station when we departed. The breakfast buffet was outstanding! Nice variety, very well prepared, breakfast area was quite attractive. The desk personnel were fantastic! Very friendly, incredibly helpful, & really focused on ensuring that your stay was perfect. We will miss the hotel as much as Venice itself!

At check in I was told that I booked their “annex” property, which I didn’t know what that meant since this was not mentioned when I booked. It ended up being in a different building adjacent to the hotel. The room was tiny with little room to maneuver even with one luggage, and very dark. This was not the issue. The problem was that after the second night, we asked for room service because the bed sheets were stained (our fault). The room was serviced but the sheets were not changed. And after the third day my wife and I woke up with a face and body rash. Not sure if they were bed bug bites or something else. The experience overall was not as we expected. Staff were nice and breakfast was good.

Wow! We stayed in the apartment and it was FANTASTIC! Two very comfy beds, tons of space, kitchen, living room, great view of the canals. Great location. Would definitely stay here again. Loved our stay!
