What a great hotel! From the moment we walked in, the staff went above and beyond. From booking a water taxi to Murano, recommending restaurants, and booking a water taxi to the airport, they were absolutely amazing. We would definitely stay here again!

Staff was so friendly & helpful. The room was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast offered was very good and we had it each day. The location was great - close to many great restaurants and walking distance to many attractions. We came from a cruise ship and got a transfer to Tranchetto and then bought a water taxi ticket to San Marco (cost $10e per person and per suitcase). It was a 10 minute walk then to the hotel. The hotel arranged a private water taxi for us for our flight home. I would 100% stay at this hotel again.

I value reviews. Hotel was easy walk from water bus but you need Google Maps. The overall hotel is very neat and clean. Staff were great. Breakfast was good. But….we aren’t sure how this happened, I guess we booked the Annex not the main hotel, this was NOT good. You walk up 56 stairs with your luggage and the AC in the rooms do NOT work, tough sleep for sure. Also there is no top sheet on the bed, just a quilt…now how often is that washed…it felt pretty gross. The bottom bed sheet was extremely scratchy and torn in places. I think if I stayed in Venice again I’d look to book elsewhere. This location is right near St. Marco square. The water bus situation coming from the train station is a MESS…if you can afford it, book a private water taxi. We waited two hours and it was so hot.

For a hotel built is 1562, this place was amazing. Loved the parts that are still original, updated building but has that old world charm. Staff extremely accommodating and very helpful for getting any and all services, water taxi, luggage, etc. highly recommend this hotel, close enough to the main square, 10 minute walk. Would stay there again.
