Hotel Paris

The property was rather quaint, old fashioned, room doors were opened with a key and upon leaving every day was asked to leave it with the receptionist. It was clean and tidy, The staff were super friendly and actioned all my requests with a smile. There was four complimentary bottles of water in the fridge. The hotel is in the centre of Florence and only couple of minutes from Duomo. The only negative point was the noisy A/C which I turned it off at night time. Should i return to Florence, I will stay there again.

Absolutely loved staying here and would do so again. We did have a rental car, and missed the one parking spot the first time by, but called the loop back an adventure! Worth the money for the parking, as they take care of the paperwork, that allows you to drive in the ZTL zone to get to the hotel. We got upgraded, so that was a pleasant surprise. The room was large, by European standards. The staff were amazingly helpful. The breakfast was worth the €10. There was a couple of bottles of water in the fridge, in the room, that were included. You could also get drinks in the breakfast room throughout the day. The location was perfect for walking all over.

Great location and very authentic Parisian style hotel. Lovely rooms, large selection for breakfast and wonderful patio courtyard to eat breakfast at.

The hotel is convenient to the important sites, since it is located about a block and a half from the Duomo. Driving and parking is a struggle in that area but the hotel staff provided a convenient work-around that made things much easier. In this and many other things the staff were very helpful.

Amazing with an amazing staff and great hospitality. Couldn’t have been any happier with how they treated us during our two night stay.

Our room was really large and fun to stay in! This hotel used to a palace. I believe our room may have been a former living room, as it had a large fireplace in it!

Great breakfast- and so many steps!! There is a lift, but there are floors off to the side between floors as well. Room was spacious, clean bathrooms. Fairly quiet, for being in such a busy location. Highly recommend.

Our recent stay at this hotel had both positive and challenging aspects. The hotel is well-located, within walking distance of major attractions and the train station, and the surrounding neighborhood felt safe and accessible. We especially enjoyed the restaurant directly across the street, which offered a great dining experience. However, there were several areas where the experience did not meet expectations. The room we were assigned faced a busy street and lacked adequate soundproofing—we could clearly hear street noise as well as sounds from the neighboring room, which made it difficult to rest. Additionally, the bathroom was extremely compact, to the point where maneuvering was uncomfortable. The shower area was particularly cramped, and the drain appeared to be malfunctioning, resulting in frequent flooding. The included breakfast was very basic and limited in variety. When we approached staff to request a room change due to the noise issue, the response was dismissive and unaccommodating. We were told to wait for another staff member, but no further assistance was provided. Overall, while the location is excellent, the room comfort and service did not reflect the price point. We do not plan to return to this property in the future.

Location

Hotels is charming and in excellent location. It is old buildings so don’t except modern amenities but is charming and great place to stay.

I booked three rooms for my family in July 2025 my daughter was in a single room. She was woken at 3am by banging on the door, she thought it was her door. It was actually the door next to hers room 203. She is a confident young lady but was frightened, she was going to phone reception but did not want the man banging to hear her. A few mins later an Italian gentleman came and shouted at the person banging on the door. She does not speak Italian so does not know if he was staff. At approx 9am I spoke to reception explained what had happened and said I would return in an hour to resolve the complaint. I returned to reception spoke to the only lady on reception who advised me she had spoken to management and could only offer 28 euros. If my daughter had called reception at 3am maybe they could have done more. I said so your putting all the responsibility on your guest a frighten single young lady. I find this so unacceptable Don’t hotels have responsibilities to their lone female guests. My daughter came down to reception to check out and I introduced her to the reception lady, she acknowledge her but DID NOT APOLOGISED TO HER OR ACKNOWLEDGED WHAT HAD HAPPENED. I felt insulted by response from staff. I said I would complete a review and she said they will respond

This is a lovely hotel in an old palace in Florence. It has many levels (and therefore lots of stairs!) gorgeous old furniture , painted ceilings in public spaces. It's in walking distance of the train station and of the Duomo. We had a problem with the a/c in our room, but they fixed it promptly.
