We (myself and young adult children) chose this hotel because of its location to the train station which was super easy to get to. Our room was overlooking the square which was perfect for us but if you want quiet it might not be ideal for you. Also, there’s a few stairs to get to that area of the hotel which could be difficult for older travelers. We walked to everything from the hotel. The location couldn’t have been better. Would stay here again for sure.

Great hotel in a great location. Very close to train station if arriving by train and parking available for those who come by car. Walking distance to all the sites if Florence. We received good service from all the staff.

Beautiful property and excellent location. Very close to the train station, so no cabs required if this is how you’re arriving/departing. Right in the middle of Piazza di Santa Maria Novella. Restaurants and other main attraction areas are within 5-10 minutes walking. Very clean rooms, helpful staff, and nice bathrooms. Showers are small as they are in all of Italy, but not a problem for us. Would absolutely stay here again.

Staffs are very kind and the location is very convenient. Problem is they don’t have a fridge
 in the each room and elevator.

This property is beautiful and the staff extremely friendly. It is super convenient to the train station and surprisingly quiet in terms of train noise. I enjoyed hearing pop up musicians in the piazza below and watching people milling about. The rooms and bathroom are beautiful. Breakfast is served wonderful! Service staff phenomenal! I highly recommend this hotel and look forward to returning!

The most PERFECT location for a hotel I've witnessed. Beautiful, very large square outside with the magnificent Santa Maria Novella church across the square. Eateries and shops line the courtyard, making it wonderful to peruse at leisure. Walking distance from the train station, but not too close to be noisy or worrisome. From the hotel you can walk to anything in the town, but it's far away enough from the hub of it to avoid the crowds and noise. Very excellent, clean hotel, wonderfully decorated waiting rooms downstairs to relax in and enjoy the decor. Rooftop access with a view of courtyard, town and church. The rooms are clean and adorable! The shower is large enough and clean all in white and black marble. The breakfast which was included, was the best breakfast I've ever had at a hotel. Lots of choices, fine cutlery offered as well as white china with champagne served, along with custom coffee/lattes and cappuccinos made to order by staff and served in a gorgeous breakfast room. We felt like royalty! :-) The staff was attentive and friendly. Nothing really negative to add, but that the mattresses are on the firm side, like all of Italy it seems, but regardless, our only main regret is that we didn't stay longer!

Everything at this hotel is fine, except the bed. Terrible bed. It’s time for them to replace their bed frames and mattresses.

Absolutely stunning! Great location from the train and the inside was immaculate. Service was very accommodating and helpful in navigating Florence. Can’t wait to return!
