I’ll be back. Love everything about staying here. Location, room, staff. The small details in the rooms & the common area. Really chilled and relaxed vibe.

First impression: staff were cool, casual, and spoke good English (my Japanese is terrible). They were informative when I asked for info. Check-in & out was very easy and straightforward. Was able to leave my luggage for a small additional cost because I was coming back. Room was cozy & super clean. Location - amazing. So close to UENO for skyliner to Narita airport. Also close to NEZU station. I wish I had more time to explore the park around Ueno, so I would love to come back.

A surprise hidden gem! We stayed in a King Theater room and it was absolutely lovely. Spacious, comfortable with a huuuge bed and cool amenities (although we didn't use the projector much... we're in Tokyo!) and a laid back vibe. The free beer daily in the downstairs bar is a lovely touch. The cafe also makes a decent coffee! My only complaint is that you will be doing a fair bit of walking if you're on public transport - it's about 15 mins from Ueno station and maybe 10 from Nezu on the Chiyoda line, and it's easy to get turned around in the backstreets. The area is very pleasant though. I wished I had booked longer here - the value for money is fantastic.

About a 15min walk from Ueno, the hotel was in a quiet neighbourhood, and walkable to a lot. Very close to Nezu station which made getting around easy. Happy hour, and the cafe were nice for getting something to eat or drink. Rooms were nice, clean and bright with a typical Tokyo hotel bathroom

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean but very small. We started the trip here and didn't have much luggage, but by the end, we had more, and it wouldn't have fit in that room. There are shared bathrooms and showers, so make sure you book the correct room. We booked a room with a private bathroom, and it’s small but comfortable. The machines wash and dry and only take 100 yen coins. You can only put a very small amount of clothes inside, and it will take about 2 hours. The hotel provides pj’s, bath towels, Q-tips, etc., so you don’t have to pack much.

Highly recommend this hotel in Tokyo. I would definitely stay here again. It is very clean and quiet. The neighborhood is very nice and interesting with many restaurants and grocery shops nearby. Also close to several subway lines. Within walking distance of Ueno Park, which is lovely and noted for the sakura in spring time. Ueno Park also has a number of excellent museums worth visiting if time permits, as well as some noted shrines and temples. The hotel has different types of rooms ranging from dorms with shared bath to private rooms with private bath. Price is good for all types of rooms. Breakfast was filling. Staff were very helpful and provided a sandwich for me on a morning when I needed to leave before breakfast service began. Staff, overall, are very friendly and helpful. They serve free beer in the early evening. Close to Haneda airport; easy to move around Tokyo from the neighborhood.

Room was incredibly clean and cleaned daily. I didn’t mind it, but in case someone else does, the private room we had, the bathroom had a step that was about a foot off the ground. The bed was big enough for two less than 6 feet tall people, but the mattress is a little stiff. Staff were all incredibly helpful and super kind. Hotel has free WiFi, and was very fast. Kitchen area was easy to use and had a lot of accessibility. Overall though, would stay here again as it is a 20 minute walk to Ueno Station. Very accessible!
