Hotel was clean and staff courteous. Breakfast was fine. You will have to take a cab to tourist destinations. One point to note is that the restaurant in hotel opens only for breakfast when I was there. So be prepared to take a cab or walk a distance for lunch and dinner. Everything else is ok.

Everything at the hotel was excellent, but they are currently enduring a taxing internet issue. Every room has its OWN INDIVIDUAL WIRELESS ROUTER, which would have been amazing if it had worked. To rectify this, the general manager handed out free SIM cards to all of the people who needed internet. He was great, and spoke lots of different languages, so I had no complaints at the end of the day. But the real story is the breakfast. BEST hotel breakfast I have ever seen. 5 asian dishes, fresh fruit, good coffee, excellent sides. I will be staying again next time I'm in Laos.

I dont often bother writing reviews about hotels because I work in the industry so I'm willing to let most small things slide because I understand how hard it is, however I feel after the experience i should warn other to stay elsewhere. Hotel is cheap and has alot of good restaurants near by, other than that leaves alot to be desired. For instance room key would stop working every 24 hours, wifi was hit and miss, breakfast was limited, sheets had old blood stains on them, ants inside the room and spiders. Oh and housekeeping will always come to clean your room at 8 or 9 am, so if your a late sleeper alway keep dnd sign out. I've never stayed or worked anywhere where that would be acceptable. Anyways buyer beware.

No way I could check-in earlier than 14:00 (which is the hotel rule,understadable! room cleaning, etc), but when I did checked-in I found dirty cups and black hair on the floor! Very slow wi-fi, shower with water running on the toilet. Wouldn't recommend this hotel!

This isn't my first time at this hotel, though it was kind a long time since previous visit. I found staff to be helpful and doing job well. Room was clean and bed linen looked above average. Bed itself is comfortable for sleeping. TV does have something to watch like HBO and couple other movie channels in english, most channels are on thai language though. Breakfast buffet looks like improved from more than a year ago, and while not presenting a tremendous variety, but does offer some selection, and cooked well. Wifi have a stable coverage and good enough. Overall, i think hotel does have fair value for money.

The hotel is in a good location. Staff was friendly but we asked for the tv to be fixed and after waiting two days we finally spoke with the manager finally got someone to come and fix it. The Internet is horrible I made several complaints to the staff and management it was so bad I could not load the google homepage. I was told we will call tomorrow to get someone to fix it. This is the excuse that was told for a week and half. basically if you need a place to sleep it's not bad but don't expect too much.

Location great for what we wanted, visiting family across the road. Hotel pictures on their website show decorations in rooms, there weren't any. We stayed 3nights then 1 night. They do supply cups and kettle but you have to pay for tea coffee? We had to ask for toilet roll to be replaced several times. Reception staff need a little training in customer service as the basics, hello and maybe a smile were missing, eye rolling and making us feel a bit of a nuisance were all there though . Have to say on a positive the breakfast was great and the restaurant staff were all lovely.

We tried to check into this hotel by 8pm and we have a booking for 2 nights but they said there is no room!! They then send us to a nearby hotel of their own i think but very low standard. The hotel is called La Ong Dao Hotel 1 Phonesynuan Village Sisattanak District, Vientiane, 2925, Laos. This is just 5 minutes walk. Very low standard hotel. Toilets have no lock from outside, it was stinking. Full of mosquitos and the B.fast was horrible. This stay was a waste of money. I tried to call the hotels.com customer service centre and they responded but no action was taken. I called from my international roaming phone! Not a good positive response from the hotels.com. I am disappointed by this kind of service. I have pictures of the door with no lock etc.
