Love the easy access and strategic location in the middle of town, the hotel decoration was wonderful my kids enjoyed very much on the facilities provided which the swimming pool was awesome. However no credit for lift access which waited too long as only 1 lift was function during checkout

As announced by Royal Malaysian Customs Department, Tourism Tax is imposed starting 1 January 2023 for all hotel guests that are non-Malaysian or non-permanent Residents of Malaysia. Please expect that hotel will collect the Tourism Tax from you during check-in at the hotel. The Tourism Tax rate is 10 RM per room per night.
Effective from 1st January 2025, the Melaka State Government imposed a mandatory MYR 4.00 Heritage Tax Fee per occupied room per night for all hotel accommodation. This fee may change without prior notice. This fee will be collected by hotel upon guest arrival.

On 01 July 2024, the Melaka State Government imposed a mandatory RM2.00 nett Heritage Tax Fee per occupied room per night for all hotel accommodation. This fee may change without prior notice. Please note, effective 01 January 2015, hotel will collect this fee this fee directly from guests upon check-out. It was exactly what I had requested when booking: a nice room with an amazing view... and when I actually got that room, I felt like I'd received a huge gift, I was so happy...
The staff was friendly, access was easy, and the food at the hotel was delicious...
My kids and I walked from the hotel to Jonker Street. We were treated to beautiful, aesthetic views, and delicious riverside food and drinks. We stopped every now and then to eat and take photos...
If I ever go back to Malacca, I'd definitely stay here again...

All I can say is it's worth the price paid. Buffet breakfast is together with guests from the next door hotel (Swiss Garden), so I feel it's quite worth it. The bed wasn't the most comfortable, but the room was huge and has space to perform solat in the room. The only issue I had was with the aircon. The aircon is quite old and dated, hence the cooling took quite some time to make the room cold. Nonetheless, we used the room only for sleep and shower, so it's worth the price with breakfast!

Not worth at all for the money. Bathroom was super dirty with mold around. Rooms very smelly. Only space big without any additional fixtures for a suite. Booked and paid for 4, with mentioned free breakfast. At hotel told it's only for 2 free breakfast. Booked and paid for 4, towels only provided free 2. Additional was asked to pay rm 10 for a towel. 0 rating for this stay. Will not be staying anymore

This is my first and last stay at this hotel. When we were about to check out, we had to wait nearly an hour for the elevator. I have two babies, and the elevator was terrible, so we had to use the stairs instead.
