What Guests Say About Their Stay

The staff was so nice. My cousin and I had two different rooms right next to each other. They did NOT have a safe. BIG disappointment, especially since my cousin's American money was stolen out of her room where she hid it. We think it was the maid. We did not eat on the property so I couldn't tell people whether that was good or not. We ate breakfast across the street at Gus Gus for two weeks and the food and staff were EXCELLENT. We ate dinner there a couple nights too, and I can honestly say, the fish and other types of food were ALWAYS fresh, tasty, and prepared exactly as we requested them. Everything was great and convenient at this hotel. They just should NOT rent out rooms WITHOUT safes, especially since they have a THIEF amongst their staff.

My parents celebrated their 60 year anniversary here and the loved their experience. Staff was absolutely wonderful and made their stay memorable. Sofi, the front desk attendant, was attentive, super friendly and very helpful! Concierge went out of their way to help my parents find a local photographer so they could get some amazing shots to capture their special day. They were also upgraded so they could have a suite on the first floor and Sofi and staff gifted them a bottle of Champagne! The accommodations were great and the views were beautiful but it is the people who made their anniversary getaway so very special and I am so grateful for all they did.

I reserved a room that had no refrigerator. The front desk has a refrigerator for medication only. I gave them my $1,400 medication and 2 days later. When I went to pick it up. The bag was full water on the bottom and all 4 cardboard boxes soaked. I asked where it was stored? And ask to speak to a manager. The manager did not apologize, or admit any responsibility. Instead tried to blame me or pharmacy for condition of medication. When clearly it was contaminated during their care. Manager didn’t offer to replace either. Only caused me stress and anxiety the rest of my vacation. I was left disappointed in their lack of hygiene. As, they do not care for their guests health! Pool is extremely filthy. Even with googles on, I could see in front of me. The security is non exsistant, just walked around in circles. Yet allowed group grown adults to drink Pacifico inside pool. How is this sanitary ? Not to mention this is not family friendly. If you care about your health, do not stay here. They are cleaner hotels that value their customers.

The location is a 9, its on the beach. The hotel is old but in reasonably good condition. The room was clean but everything was from the 70's, updating seriously required. Kitchen not well equipped. The staff are ok, but English is not spoken by many of them. You will need to use your phone for translating.

We were able to check in about 4 hours early. Every employee we encountered was very friendly. We loved the layout of the 1 bdrm suite. Plenty of space and a gorgeous view of the ocean. On our first night, we had a lizard right above the AC vent that my husband had to climb on a chair to catch. It would be nice if doors in Mexico had door sweeps because almost every place we've ever stayed in they have big gaps under the doors. We used a towel to cover the 1 inch gap to help with noise, climate control, and lizard prevention. Wifi cut in and out and there wasn't password protected so anyone could join. Having just spent 10 days at El Cid in Mazatlan, we were disappointed to have spotty wifi. Other than that, our stay was great and we would stay again.

The hotel overall is very dated. The room was clean, great housekeeping staff. Beds were rock hard, old pillows and sheets. Kitchenette was not well equipped. Roaches in the kitchen area at night. Needs a new fridge. Food was not great poolside although our server was great. We didn't try the restaurants. So many better places to eat. Front desk staff were not always helpful. I would not stay here again stay here again.
