Perfectly located close to tram, stores, restaurants and the hotel has a nice rooftop with amazing views. I had a 5 star experience from the service to the nice bathtub and spacious room with a view. As a 5-star hotel, there are lots of improvements needed in this hotel. The room we stayed has strong paint smell. The wash sinks are easily clogged. The water temperature of shower faucet is so difficult to adjust, it’s either burning hot or too cold. It can’t stay at warm level. We reserve the stay in the hotel for a friend's wedding held in the same hotel. All the guests suppose to receive welcome basket but nothing was delivered to our room.

The telephone in the room was not working so could not call room service had to go downstairs into reception three times to ask him to fix the phone to fix the fridge for some more glassware for the room. Every time I was promised, I would go back up to my room and then need to come down to Reception again. I was sick and had no way of calling Reception to get any room service or any amenities to my room. I have made a formal complaint at the hotel with Guest Relations. The room quality is excellent and the hotel is in a good location but the service has dropped over the last 10 years since I’ve been staying at this hotel.
