Clean but electric issue met last holiday time

Property was clean upon arrival & spacious, but they do not provide bath towel and didn’t disclose that, however you can purchase them there (2 towels for 8€). Another thing that I didn’t like is that they give you a curfew .. you can not entire with your vehicle past 11pm. If your vehicle not inside premises you have to park outside & walk to the cottage which in my case was a bit far from entry. It would have be helpful to have disclose this information on website prior to booking. I rate the staff a 4 out of 10. The manager was quite rude & didn’t help at all. On the other hand the other worker was sweet & tried to guide us best possible. Another thing that listed on the website is that they help you book activities which they do not. But other than that the property is well maintained & safe especially for a family .. ..

It was a good place for the price. Would have liked to see other options available for this property in Hotels.com since after arrival there were many other room types.

Was supposed to stay for 3 nights. I moved to another hotel after the first night. Arrived in the property and it was literally cooking inside. No A/C (I should have double checked the amenities). You’ll literally have to wait for sunset to cool of the property by opening all the windows (so many bugs going in by the way). By then it will already be 11 at night. Worst, no towels! Again, maybe I didn’t double check the amenities. But this is a basic need that should have been provided. Overall, place is nice but the important elements of comfort are missing.

There was no 24 hrs reception No cleaning for the rooms although we stayed for 6 night The cleaning kits was provided one time during the check in due to that we were forced to purchase the trash bages, dish washing machine soup...etc

Property was good for our stay. The only issue we had was the size and lack of equipment in the gym.

The stay was nice. The kids really enjoyed the pool! The location is quite far from public transport and from Albert Heijn, so that wasn’t very fun.

Wonderful Property

Overall a very nice property to stay at. Clean, modern and well maintained. A few points of consideration however: 1) when booking through expedia, there is no mention of a deposit to be taken on the day. We were quite surprised to have to pay a deposit of €100 for each person staying. We were also quite surprised that we had to make our own bedding, as bed sheets and pillow cases were left on the bed for us to do. Transport links to the property are also quite difficult. Although there is a direct train to halfweg station, it is still a 20-25 minute walk to the property. The property was fully equipped with kitchen and utensils however some small tea or coffee sachets would have been a nice touch as we had to source everything ourselves. No soap or towels included either. This doesnt take away from the fact that it is a really lovely place to stay but for the price that one pays, one would expect a little bit more. Also there is a quite rigorous cleaning process to ensure your deposit is returned to you. My advice is to definitely consider staying at the property, but be prepared i.e with transport, food & drink and hefty deposit depending on the number of people staying.

Everything was great. The room, the location, and the easy access to renting the bikes. Only downfall was receiving only 1 roll of toilet paper for 1 week for 4 people. As well as the walk from the hotel to the train station was about 20 minutes of a walk and in the night there’s no lights besides your phone lights.

The restaurant inside the area it’s a disaster!

It was quaint, warm, safe and gave great options for getting in and out of Amsterdam with a car or train!

very quiet, very friendly staff, we had everything we asked for, it wasn't in the room, good professionals and competent all staff.

Our stay was fine as far as the site and accommodation was concerned. However, 1 week prior to arrival we were informed of a large deposit to be paid due to a music festival in the area (we were there for the marathon), but it would be repaid within 10 days of checking out. Unimpressed, we nevertheless paid. It took 31 days, several CEO complaints and eventually getting the Netherlands watchdog involved before the refund was received. During that time, the site made several excuses as to why not refunded, including a new computer system; none held up to scrutiny and we are sorely disappointed in our Europarcs experience.

No towels provided. Can’t rent towels after reception close at 5pm. No communication on no towel provided. Wash basin clogged. Fireplace not working. After complaining to reception, still nobody comes to fix it. Very bad holiday experience.

Apart from a few minor things found like a dirty plate etc. the apartment was very nice and I would definitely stay here again. Great experience in Amsterdam!

This is a very beautiful property but the accommodation inside and around is dirty . I hope they work on this part .

Lovely accommodation, a lot of walking if you don’t have a car but on the whole a lovely place
