Was supposed to stay for 3 nights. I moved to another hotel after the first night. Arrived in the property and it was literally cooking inside. No A/C (I should have double checked the amenities). You’ll literally have to wait for sunset to cool of the property by opening all the windows (so many bugs going in by the way). By then it will already be 11 at night. Worst, no towels! Again, maybe I didn’t double check the amenities. But this is a basic need that should have been provided. Overall, place is nice but the important elements of comfort are missing.

There was no 24 hrs reception No cleaning for the rooms although we stayed for 6 night The cleaning kits was provided one time during the check in due to that we were forced to purchase the trash bages, dish washing machine soup...etc

Plus: Sehr ruhige Lage in schöner Natur. Die Unterkunft war geräumig, gut ausgestattet mit viel Geschirr, und das Personal war freundlich. Minus: Leider war es nicht richtig sauber (staubig), der Außenbereich ungepflegt und überwuchert. Es fehlte an grundlegenden Dingen wie Seife, Tüchern, Spülmittel und einem Feuerzeug für den Herd , selbst Händewaschen war nicht möglich.Selbst Händewaschen war beim Ankommen nicht möglich.

Property was good for our stay. The only issue we had was the size and lack of equipment in the gym.

Einchecken: Nur 1 Stunde verfügbar, hinterlegen des Schlüssels im Nachttresor wurde erst auf die 2. Mail reagiert. Auschecken: Lange Schlange, die sich alle über Mängel beklagten und nur 1 Person in der Rezeption. Sehr laut durch Fluglärm durch Lage zwischen 2 Startbahnen ( Tag und eingeschränkt auch nachts) Aufheizen durch Sonne des Gebäudes Anfang April, bei Rückkehr am Abend noch 36 Grad. Einrichtung für 4 Personen unzureichend. Positiv ist die Nähe zum Bahnhof 20 Minuten zu Fuß und 10 Minuten mit dem Zug nach Amsterdam.

The stay was nice. The kids really enjoyed the pool! The location is quite far from public transport and from Albert Heijn, so that wasn’t very fun.

Wonderful Property

Not smart to go there without a car.

Für paar Tage ist sehr guter Unterkunft. Gross und mit viel Sonne. Amsterdam ist in der Nähe. Empfehlen kann man schon.

An sich ist der Europarcs Sparnwoude ein schöner Ferienpark. Auch das Personal ist sehr freundlich und das Restaurant "Sophia's" ist sehr gut. Leider hatten wir in der Unterkunft eine beschädigte Tür im Badezimmer und die Duschwanne war leider nicht richtig gereinigt. Zudem ist eine Leiste unter der Terrassentür abgefallen und das Reisebett war schwer aufzubauen. Vermutlich haben die Verbindungen geklemmt. So konnte ich das Bett auch bei Abreise leider nicht Zusammenklappen. Wenn man diese Makel abstellt, kann ich den Park weiterempfehlen.

It was nice

Overall a very nice property to stay at. Clean, modern and well maintained. A few points of consideration however: 1) when booking through expedia, there is no mention of a deposit to be taken on the day. We were quite surprised to have to pay a deposit of €100 for each person staying. We were also quite surprised that we had to make our own bedding, as bed sheets and pillow cases were left on the bed for us to do. Transport links to the property are also quite difficult. Although there is a direct train to halfweg station, it is still a 20-25 minute walk to the property. The property was fully equipped with kitchen and utensils however some small tea or coffee sachets would have been a nice touch as we had to source everything ourselves. No soap or towels included either. This doesnt take away from the fact that it is a really lovely place to stay but for the price that one pays, one would expect a little bit more. Also there is a quite rigorous cleaning process to ensure your deposit is returned to you. My advice is to definitely consider staying at the property, but be prepared i.e with transport, food & drink and hefty deposit depending on the number of people staying.

Everything was great. The room, the location, and the easy access to renting the bikes. Only downfall was receiving only 1 roll of toilet paper for 1 week for 4 people. As well as the walk from the hotel to the train station was about 20 minutes of a walk and in the night there’s no lights besides your phone lights.

Superbe logement, grand spacieux, moderne et propre

Der Check in und auch das Auschecken haben reibungslos funktioniert. Das Personal war sehr nett und schmutzige Bettbezüge sofort ausgetauscht. Leider haben die Vormieter einen sehr penetranten widerlichen Geruch hinterlassen der zum Glück bis zum nächsten Tag verflogen ist. Die Ecken und der Ausfluss könnten auch mal wieder gereinigt werden aber für den Preis haben wir das absolut in Kauf genommen. Insgesamt war die Unterkunft und das Inventar sauber und gepflegt.

It was quaint, warm, safe and gave great options for getting in and out of Amsterdam with a car or train!
