The hotel location is in the heart of the City Centre. This was a great place to stay because of the proximity to Dam Square...Anne Frank House and many restaurants and pubs that were all in walking distance. Also, there was a tram that ran on the Main Street that could take you to multiple areas in the City. The check-in/checkout was seamless. The accommodations were modern and the service of staff was top tier. I reported water temperature issues and the Kimpton de Witt maintenance team repaired it promptly! The bed was comfortable and I enjoyed the quietness of the room although it faced the busy corridor. The hotel offers a free breakfast and a daily social hour from 4p-5p! The social hour offers free (red or white) wine; beer and soft drinks. It would be great if they added a cheese board or some other snacks during the social hour. The hotel bar in the hotel was fantastic...they served high quality artisan cocktails. While dining at a restaurant nearby ...when I asked for recommendations of places to try great drinks..they suggested Bar Lyon at my hotel! Well done...Kimpton!

We spent 1 night at Kimpton De Witt Amsterdam and would gladly have stayed more. The staff were very friendly, the room was very clean and had all your essential amenties, the decor is very modern, the breakfast was delicious, with plenty of options. The hotel offers a daily happy hour with free drinks and also free bicycle hire, unfortunately we were not to make use of these, but was very impressed it was offered. It is also situated in a very central location, walking distance to alot of the major attractions and Centraal station. Would defo recommend if visiting the city.

An amazing hotel. Loved it here, a very central location and easy to walk anywhere in the city centre. If you catch a train in from anywhere in Europe you have a 400 meter walk to the train station.

Room clean and good sized. Free happy hour was noce. Location great. Service excellent.

Great staff with fantastic location to the city for a visit

Our stay at the Kimpton De Witt in Amsterdam was absolutely perfect. The location is excellent—close to everything yet still calm and comfortable—but what truly made this hotel stand out was the service. The front desk staff, especially the lady who helped us, was outstanding. Friendly, attentive, and genuinely cared about making our stay special. Every interaction felt warm and personal, which is rare and so appreciated. If you’re deciding where to stay in Amsterdam, don’t hesitate—this hotel is worth it. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the city.
