Clean and easily located. Other hotels are named Leonardo so having address handy is helpful. Located near all the museums and Tram. Staff was helpful when we had trouble locating the River Cruise dock location and called internationally for assistance.

The WiFi doesn’t seem to work. A very helpful young man at the front desk helped me. He opened Data so I could get email and texts. That’s through the phone, which is not the same as WiFi. The shower door needed new rubber around it to keep water from flooding the bathroom. Desk staff was happy that was reported.

The hotel is located so very close to many of the attractions in the center of Amsterdam. The hotel staff were very cordial. The criticisms we have are the following: some of the rooms, including ours, are in the attached building. One has to travel through three different doors and through a narrow-cornered doorway to reach these rooms. This was very difficult with our luggage. The young girl at the front desk was very kind and tried to help, but our bags were very heavy, and it was difficult to navigate the hallways to our room. The sitting area is very cozy. The restaurant was not open for a meal in the evening which would have been very nice on King's Day when the streets were so crowed with partiers! The only other criticism we have is that there is a definite mouldy smell in the hallways between the two attached buildings. Again, the location of this hotel is AMAZING!!!

The hotel has a good location in the museum quarter of Amsterdam and a good breakfast at a reasonable price. But our introduction to the hotel was damaged by the staff at reception. I'd received notification three weeks in advance that I was eligible for a reduced price of a room upgrade, which I clicked to accept. I didn't hear back. When checking in, I was told there was no record of the offer and that these upgrades depended on availability and there was no room available. I immediately checking online with Expedia and the deluxe room I wanted was available for the time of our stay. However, no discussion of this with the staff worked. We were then told that we'd have to wait three hours for our original room. A few minutes later, the staff checked again and our room was ready. The behaviour of the staff affected our perception of the stay. The room we had was cramped for two people.

It's such a good location. Will definitely book again for our next visit. Nice staff too, always pleasant and chill. I wanna go back now!
