Great staff and great location! Property does need some major updating! The lattes were great!

It overlooks Voringfossen waterfalls with walkways over the falls providing breathtaking views.

Amazing location above Varingsfossen! I had to leave before breakfast soTitas (Stan), an outstanding addition to staff, made me feel at home and additionally procured a hearty breakfast sandwich the night before. As a note if information, there was not a tv in my room (which is perfect by me!)... Fossli is A wonderful!!

It is a historic hotel that is badly in need of renovations to modernize it. No elevator, shower was poorly designed leading to water all over the floor, no wifi in the dining room. Outside the viewpoints are fabulous.

The hotel's location right at the waterfall is spectacular. The rooms are small and spartan and toiletries are not provided - other than liquid soap in the shower area. Breakfast is very nice. But the hotel's location is what really sets it apart.

Beautiful setting, comfortable clean rooms

Although older, the property was a good value for the price. It has a great family history and the fact that the waterfalls are right there made this location amazing! Robert was helpful and friendly at check in, but we had some other experiences in the morning that were a little less desirable: 1. The hotel is shared with visitors to the waterfalls and gets crowded with visitors (not guests), 2. We were sent out of the hotel to the cafe bathrooms to fill our water bottles versus filling them in the restaurant (which was never an issue elsewhere), 3. The breakfast is more of a continental style versus other hotels that we stayed at nearby (not a big deal, but not the norm in our experience)

The fossli hotel is family owned and run for four generations, very friendly staff and great location.

We visited the enchanting Voringfossen waterfall one day then returned 5 days later to stay the night. Bed a bit uncomfortable. Maybe a little outdated, but had lots of character. Would stay again if the opportunity presented itself. Loved the history of the motel. Owner and staff very friendly. Explained the wonderful mural painted on the dining room wall. Food was superb at breakfast. Very elegant. Enjoyed a delicious homemade snack both times at the cafe. Thanks to Rammo-Abby Chiras Subtire for the pastries and the excellent cafe au lait.

very nice location, right at cliff above the waterfalls. View was amazing. the hotel is full of history, one of the most unique hotels I have ever stayed.

Charmamtes Hotel mit sehr netten Mitarbeitenden. Wir sind mit unserem kleinen Hund gereist und durften den Hund sogar zum Abendessen mitnehmen. Auf dem Menü gibt es auch ein vegetarisches Gericht. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und die antike Atmosphäre ist großartig. Klasse Ausblick. Wir würden definitiv wiederkommen!

Hôtel de montagne au charme désuet dans un site exceptionnel. Bon restaurant.

Fantastisk beliggenhed lige oven for Vøringsfossen. Fantastisk udsigt. Hyggeligt hotel med charme. Desværre var vinduer i værelset utætte, da de var lidt defekte og kunne ikke lukkes helt.

Flott ærverdig hotell med flott utsikt over Måbudalen Hele oppholdet var helt topp 👌 Kommer gjerne tilbake

Helt greit opphold for en natt. Man ser at hotellet er gammel og slitt, og hadde trengt en oppgradering. God middag og frokost.
