The access to Voringsfossen is unmatched. The hotel is literally at the top of the waterfall. We were able to walk around the waterfall after and before the other tourists could get there. You could see down the canyon from our balcony. The dinner in the restaurant was excellent and the morning breakfast was good. The staff was friendly and helpful. No hotel in the area could match the benefits of the Fossli Hotel.

Everything was wonderful! The hotel is old but it has character and history behind it. The location is perfect to see the waterfalls! Staff was also very helpful and kind.

Venlig og høflig betjening og smukke omgivelser.

Location was excellent, many rooms, including the dining had views of the magnificent waterfall. Pleasant staff. Dinner was delicious, presentation very good, served by a friendly lovely waitress. Breakfast was tasty however no hot food. Historical information and artefacts to view whilst roaming the communal rooms. The bed was older but still comfortable. Perfect location to explore the waterfall trails, Easy free parking.

Fantastiskt mottagande, trevlig personal. Hotellet är gammalt men ganska väl underhållet. Maten var lite enkel men vällagad och jättegod, både middag och frukost. Lite lyhört men tyst på rummet. Bodde på baksidan, trots varmt ute ändå ganska svalt på rummet. Bra säng. Läget är fantastiskt med fallet utanför.

Tidslomme, forvænt ikke noget. Morgenmad og menu en anelse pauvert. Fin udsigt fra vores værelse og god beliggenhed.

Ouderwets hotel op een fantastische locatie.

Very charming hotel, not state of the art but rather time travelling 50 years back. With some careful renovation it could easily earn 5 stars. Superb location! Good food for dinner with reasonable pricing. Underwhelming breakfast. Restaurant staff could be a bit more empathetic. Overall an authentic and good experience. Do not expect more than 1960‘s accommodation in terms of facilities.

Mysigt hotell med fantastiskt läge. Gemytlig stämning och väldigt trevlig personal. Hotellet är slitet men rent och gillar man retro är detta perfekt. Maten var utmärkt och servicen likaså!

Autentisk hotel med den smukkeste beliggenhed lige ovenfor Norges smukkeste vandfald. Døren blev åbnet for os da vi ankom og vi følte at vi trådte ind på et museum. Hotellet er gammelt men utrolig velholdt og autentisk med mange gamle, smukke og nostalgiske ting. Fantastisk service og fantastisk restaurant, hvor vi spiste skøn laks og utrolig mør og velsmagende rensdyr. Dette er simpelthen et ophold du ikke må snyde dig selv for

fantastisk beliggenhed med udsigt ned over vandfaldene. hyggeligt ældre fjeldhotel.

Excellent Location for Vøringfossen. Restaurant is good. Room is a little bit small, but very clean. Staff is very helpful!

The falls are STUNNING! and made the stay worth it. The staff was incredibly warm and helpful. This property has an inspiring story of its construction - almost 150 years ago. The rooms have obviously been updated since then but some of the construction work seems incomplete. I would make the trip again simply to listen to the falls all night and wake up to the stunning view.

Fantastisk utsikt!

Gammelt hotell med sjel og knirkete gulv. Pågående renovering og eier ser ut til ta godt vare på det originale i hotellet og interiøret. Men maten kan heve seg en del hakk.

Fin utsikt og fin frokost, men rommene var gamle og dårlig holdt ved like. Luktet gammelt i gangene. Slitt overalt.

Flott hotell hvor den gamle og opprinnelige(?) stilen er bevart. Nyrenovert rom med god inneluft. Fantastisk utsikt over Vøringsfossen fra vinduet.

Charmamtes Hotel mit sehr netten Mitarbeitenden. Wir sind mit unserem kleinen Hund gereist und durften den Hund sogar zum Abendessen mitnehmen. Auf dem Menü gibt es auch ein vegetarisches Gericht. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und die antike Atmosphäre ist großartig. Klasse Ausblick. Wir würden definitiv wiederkommen!
