Easy to get in touch with the host by phone. They are not present, so they do not get insight into what's happening at the site. I called in to complain that the hallway outside my room was a building site as they were changing wiring and drilling in walls and I could barely talk over the phone over the insane noise. This was news to the host, they did not know about the work being done and could not answer when it would be done. Apart from that the app did not work to open the door, but I got help to print out a digital key on the reception machine. This also did not work at first, but easy to reach the host and let her fix and help from remote. A bit risky for me to stay there again as I travel for work and need peace and quiet during the day also, not just evening.

The physical condition of the property was nice, updated kitchen bathroom etc. what was disappointing was the lack of air conditioning which required the windows to be open. This led to being woken up every night by the loud crowd in the neighborhood.
Specifically, on two nights at 0230-0300 I heard racist comments from the locals. To be specific, f**k you n*gr* being yelled by the local middle eastern individuals. This was highly offensive and I would not recommend anyone staying at this location. As a pro immigration individual it was troublesome to see how the local non-Norwegians acted in the area. After the offensive yelling loud Arabic was spoken and these were the individuals making racist comments.
The location was close to the sentrum and that was nice but the loud and offensive comments will have me staying in a hotel vs the frogner apartments going forward. Really feel sad for the individual that was subject to these comments. Hopefully this will cease to exist in the future but was a big disappointment for a visit to Stavanger. It was shocking that this occurs in Norway. I would not let any female member of my family stay in this area. While Frogner Apartments cannot control the locals I felt the need to mention why I was really disappointed.

we paid four people for two rooms. However, there is only one very small bottle of shampoo and condition. not enough racks for towels. NO kitchen paper towels. Only one run detergent for clothes washer . No dryer so we have to hang clothes to dry.
When we checked in, the Auto serve system can not find our booking, so we have to call their center.
