Staff are very warm and accommodating. The texture of the sands is quite different from other stations very powdery. Good selection of breakfast buffet not too grand but it is what it is. But the wifi connection is quit slow but its okay. Most important is the beach. Thank you Henann Prime will come back soon. ❤️

Our stay was fabulous. They have a complimentary honeymoon setup for our room. Staff always greets us. The breakfast is very good. I love the Filipino breakfast and the mini buffet for fruits, jam, waffles, and drinks.

Every review here mentions how hospitable and kind the staff are, let me just say, yes! They absolutely are! The rooms are clean, the beds are firm, the shower works hot cold just right, the breakfast is basic but suffices and the location is good, too. But the biggest thing for me here that made a mark is really their welcoming, caring and fun staff! I prefer beachfront establishments, but I recommend this place, too!

More about hotels in Station 1

Station 1, Boracay Island

Station 1 is the quieter, more upscale northern end of Boracay's White Beach, in Balabag on Boracay Island. It has a wider stretch of sand than Station 2 further south, calmer water (motorised water sports are kept off this stretch), and is where most of the island's 5-star resorts cluster — a better fit for couples and travellers prioritising a resort stay over nightlife.

What Station 1 is known for

Station 1's beach is generally considered Boracay's best for swimming and sunset-watching, since the sand is broader and the water free of motorised craft. It sits close to Diniwid Beach and Willy's Rock, a small rock formation with a shrine that's one of the island's most photographed landmarks, plus Boracay's Grotto nearby.

Getting there

Same route as the rest of Boracay: fly into Caticlan or Kalibo (connecting via Manila, Cebu or another Asian hub from Australia — there's no direct flight), cross by boat to Boracay's jetty, then tricycle to Station 1. It's a walkable 15-20 minutes along the beach to Station 2's restaurants and D'Mall for more dining variety.

Where to stay in Station 1

The Lind Boracay — a design-led lifestyle resort with a signature three-tier infinity pool overlooking the sea.

Discovery Boracay — a 5-star beachfront resort on Station 1's most exclusive stretch, with a spa, sunken swim-up bar and a complimentary airport-transfer shuttle.

Henann Prime Beach Resort — a beachfront pick from the same well-established local chain that operates several Station 2 properties, with Station 1's calmer water on its doorstep.

Microtel by Wyndham Boracay and The Muse Hotel Boracay are more affordable options a short walk back from the beachfront, for travellers who want Station 1's quieter setting on a tighter budget.

What's nearby

Diniwid Beach, a short walk or boat ride further north, is a smaller, even quieter cove worth a visit; Boracay's Grotto and the Holy Rosary Church are both within walking distance.
