I stayed here for 1 night on my layover. It is conveniently located only 10 minutes from the DOH airport which was easy. The room was very clean and I also enjoyed the use of a full kitchen. There was always someone available for security as well. Doors have locks. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

This is an excellent, high quality, unbeatable value option for single adults on a budget. Staff are excellent, helpful, and friendly. Venue is neat, spotless and homely, in a quiet neighborhood that is well served by easy shopping. Highly recommend.

Important Note
Due to World Cup Qatar 2022, all traveler's who are not citizens of Qatar must obtain a Hayya Card to enter Qatar and World Cup stadiums. Please note that in order to obtain a Hayya Card, foreign traveler's must get their accommodation booking validated by the accommodation owner. To do so, after booking, traveler's must provide personal details, dates of travel, game ticket application number (if any), and any other information that may be required. If the booking is not validated, the accommodation owner may cancel the booking without a refund.

I would like to leave a review about this hostel – it is absolutely terrible. It’s completely unsuitable for travelers. The room was dirty, the bed sheets hadn’t been washed in weeks, there was trash lying around, and the bathroom was incredibly filthy. I definitely do not recommend staying here

They will make u feel like you are in yiur house the staff are kind and everyone there is good even the other surfers and also security and not a lot of beds per room , just the place they r located is kinda bad for transportation metro is 10QR by uber and dining only indian store

Hostel is located in a quiet residential neighborhood within a large two-storey house with easy access to the free metro link busses and a 15 minute walk to the bustling "Bangkok type" Al Matar Al Qadeem Street"
The owner Hassan kindly collected me from the Metro Station and showed me around local area, vicinity and brought me to the hostel.
I spent over two weeks here. Rooms have all basics including air conditioning. The place is not perfect and not without some minor issues but of good value for budget travellers visiting the heart of Doha. Regardless of anything of most value is the intention of the staff, Ahsan, continuously trying to ensure I was happy and working hard to provide a clean, comfortable environment on a daily basis for me & all of the hostel guests! Thanks to Ali aswell for also accomodating me so kindly and being available when required.
Hope to see you all again soon in Doha!

You can not expect 5 star hotel for that money. Friendly and nice staff. Rooms very nice and clean. Close to supermarket And bus stop. I would come back again next time

Beware that this hostel is not really centric. Nevertheless, tt is connected to Ibn-Nafie through the bus M125. It is used more than by tourists by immigrants while managing their visas. The mood is not especially funny. No lockers. The toilet was not clean the days I visited it. If you want a simple and affordable stopover stay it may be your option, but be aware that it may not reach your standard.

They have charged us more than what we have agreed on. It is not a real hostel. Not safe and no CCTV available. Terrible service or no service at all. There is nothing good I can say about it. I dont know where the good reviews cane from and thats why we booked. I have been around hostels but not as messed up operation as this.

Hassan, Mon and the whole staff are very friendly and open to any requests or concerns one may have while staying in their hostel. There is a full kitchen you can use, the beds are remade by staff every day and the shower is nice and hot. You can also store your luggage for free after checkout if you want to explore Doha after checking out. A bus stop that takes you to the metro is a short 10min walk away which was convenient. Also nearby is a nice coffee shop, large supermarket and a kebab place that has the best chicken shawarma I've ever had in my life (I went twice in my two days). Overall a great experience, I highly recommend a stay at Home Stay.
