Can honestly say this was the nicest low-cost accommodation I've stayed in. Room was huge and the bathroom was lovely. Everything was catered for i.e. towels & hair dryer which you don't necessarily get for places of a similar price. Tea bags with milk were a colossal bonus and were replenished which again is unheard of for the price (in my experience anyway). Only downside was I couldn't thank the owner personally. Honestly 10/10

On arrival the Staff were ok. The rooms looked ok at the start but the more you look the more you find. It’s very apparent for the cost, you pay for what you get. The pillows and quilt were dirty, can see stains all over them. Can hear everything going on in and around the building even though we were on the 4th floor. I didn’t complain whilst there because it’s cheap and you pay cheap. The least they could do is have clean sheets and flowing water, the water kept cutting out mid shower and sometimes wouldn’t turn on for 10 mins. Other than that the accommodation is close to the city centre, it’s easy to get there by bus, train taxi or even walk (40 min). There is free parking on site or even on the streets.

Value for the money £15 taxi to city center-rail station. Stairs no elevator. A few pubs nearby. Rose Reilly's Pub had friendly staff and a lovely crowd both Fri & Sat night. We also had a chippy not far from that pub. Great weekend.

The room was small but ok for a 2 night stay. The main problem was the constant noise from upstairs; not music or TV but the sound of furniture being moved or things being dropped; a constant series of thuds etc.

The hotel was very close to good transport links. There’s also some lovely places to eat in the Mount Florida area which is about 10 minutes walk away. Upon arrival, we weren’t able to check in a minute earlier so find something to do until 2:30pm if you are early. When we checked in we were given a room on the top floor. At first glance it was adequate for what we had paid. Soon realised some marks on the bedding and towels. We then discovered the tv did not work. The normal channels could not receive signal and we were too far away from the WiFi to use the smart features. After reporting this, someone came to try and fix this but it is obviously an issue that is ongoing (judging by other reviews). As we had a long day travelling, we just wanted to relax for the evening and watch some tv. They were very good to give us another room which was clearly a more expensive room, which we were very grateful for. I guess we were lucky they had another room available. Overall a pleasant stay and suitable for what we needed.

Staff cordial. Plenty of parking. Luggage "storage" not secure...simply piled on a bed, in a corner. A LOT of door slamming, loud talking, little girl whining...difficult to sleep. Shower door broken. Whole property could use some maintenance and a thorough cleaning.
