Holiday Inn Express STIRLING by IHG, an IHG Hotel

Awesome breakfast buffet! Best way to start your day! Bryan, manager was accommodating upon check in and made our stay even more pleasant. Clean and comfortable. A nice pitstop between Edinburgh airport into the Highlands.

An extremely pleasant 2 night stay. The room was very comfortable with super size bed and plenty of storage space for clothes etc. Chair was comfy and everything was spotless. Shower was super!! The breakfast buffet was laid out very well and the food was delicious, we wanted for nothing! A lovely staff member called Kate went out of her way to help us on a couple of occasions! The Inn was in a perfect location for our break on our way up to the highlands. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay…thank you.

Would never be back.absolute shocking.im in a wheelchair and we were asked at reception if we really needed an accessible room.once in the room the side that I have to sleep at had no bedside cabinet for my ventilator.we were told there was never a cabinet there but my wife had taken pictures to show there was one there.they gave us a moving table for my ventilator that would move if I moved in bed.the bed was so uncomfortable.after speaking with a manager they moved us to another room.i had a bedside cabinet this time with no plug.we had to run an extension cable right under the bed to the other side of the room to get electric.we left one night early.the lady that was on for breakfast was lovely and so helpful.certainly a lot better than the reception staff.we’re going to the same hotel in Chester and have called them and they couldn’t have been more helpful and have gave us 2 rooms interconnecting due to my wife caring for me.they said it was company policy.certainly night and day.we enjoyed our break in Stirling but won’t be staying at this hotel again

Lack of storage space for clothes if staying more than one night. Never understood why spare toilet rolls by the side of the toilets! Men splash and it ultimately ends up on the rolls. Not hygienic Otherwise a comfortable stay

Very nice, easy, clean

Room was cold when went in. The heating was noisy and not very good. USB beside bed badly damaged

Great stay but vegetarian options very limited for breakfast. Hash browns were empty leaving only egg and beans. Bread choices were only white and some other bread choice would have been something. That said, friendly staff, easy check in and out and decent room for size and cleanliness and convenient location. Would recommend!

Reception staff were excellent

Happy with stay except air conditioning / heating unit was really noisy and didn't work very well. Duvet was exceptionally heavy, even for winter but might be to compensate for ac unit

Needed taxi service to get to town center. But it was very reasonable.

Overall the property was okay but there were stains on the chair etc which was not very pleasing.

IHG is getting worse by the day. The hotel was not in good shape, the room looked visibly old and in desperate need of repair. Some staff was also rude, the breakfast was extremely poor.

It was just ok. Stayed here many times before however this time the noise was profound. I’m all for family’s taking children away but please educate them on the etiquette of hotel hallways. They are not indoor play areas.

At Check-in Tristan did acknowledge me, smile, or look at me when talking to me. The room was cold on arrival because the air conditioning was not working. Reception put a heater in the room but it was obvious this was not a new issue. We saw another heater in the corridor the next morning. We are vegan and had been told by Tristan when I phoned earlier in the day that there would be oat milk and vegan sausages at breakfast. There were neither. I had to drive to Morrisons to buy oat milk for breakfast. The hotel could be good if they fixed the air conditioning and paid more attention to visitors with vegan diets. Soya milk and oat milk are not interchangeable.
