Hotel Indigo GLASGOW, an IHG Hotel

Nice hotel with friendly, helpful staff. We had to call the front desk twice due to a woman screaming and what sounded to being assaulted in the next room. House security responded immediately. Screams and yelling again after the first visit by staff. On 2nd call to the front desk shortly after the 1st call, we were told security removed and relocated the woman to another hotel and that this was not the first incident they had experienced with the couple in the 4 or 5 days they had been in the hotel. The staff acted quickly, though we never saw law enforcement. Parking is available across the street in a public garage with a pax drop off in front of the hotel.

Overnight with my 9 year old daughter. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. Pleased with the room. Big comfy bed.

Had another fantastic stay in Hotel Indigo. My wife and I stayed for 2 nights and can’t fault the hotel. Katt and Ivana on reception are extremely friendly and welcoming. I asked for a quiet room and that’s exactly what we received. Really comfortable bed and warm, clean room. We will be back again.

The check in was fine-got into our room at 1pm instead of 3pm which was great. Dirty footprints in the shower-reported it and it was sorted. Room was incredibly warm and air con was noisy. Breakfast had good choice but machine coffee was rotten!

We had a lovely stay. The rooms are great. Night light in bathroom, plug points beside morris and lots of other amenities. Thoroughly enjoyed it.

Staff were all very polite and helpful, room was a bit dirty in places [ floor / table ] and coffee machine too much of a faf to operate, old coffee pods jammed in it.

Great location for the city. Easy walk to most attractions. Friendly and helpful staff and excellent breakfasts.

Excellent stay . Only downside was had difficulty with room temperature was very cold on arrival and didn’t heat up properly at all throughout stay .

Centrally based hotel, handy for city centre events. Lovely welcoming staff and nothing was too much trouble. Our room was spacious and lovely big comfortable bed, tea/coffee making facilities and large shower.

Service was excellent great central location, easy parking next-door in Q-Park. Breakfast was okay.

Our stay was brilliant from start to finish, room was spotless and spacious, bed was very comfy, and the rainfall shower was a treat, with gorgeous arran aromatic products to use too. The icing on the cake for us though was the fact hotel staff had went over and above to leave us a little 1st anniversary celebration treat to enjoy! Will definitely stay again

Had a super stay. Whole hotel was very clean. Staff very friendly and helpful. Multi Parking next door £17 per day, not bad for city centre. Bottles of water and choc biscuits in fridge. Iron & ironing board. Will be going back and would definitely recommend.

Police Scotland communication to not travel so we had to cancel our booking through no fault of our own. We understand the no refund policy for no shows but this would have meant us going against police advice and out our lives in danger during a red warning alert. We are very disappointed that the hotel could not see beyond a policy in favour of logic and adverse weather. We were also deeply disappointed that having paid for a room the hotel didn’t avail themselves if offering it to a homeless person as we requested, to keep someone safe and off the streets of Glasgow during the storm.

The hotel is well located, just enough out of the hustle & bustle but a short stroll into it. The reception staff (Katt) were very friendly & welcoming. The room was a strange layout & was a little tired in areas but good enough for us. One thing I was slightly annoyed at was the shower gel was empty so had to wash with shampoo, however, we informed reception the next morning & it was quickly filled up & the room tidied. The bed was comfy, & there was a fridge & tea/coffee facilities in the room. We opted for breakfast in the morning & this was well executed, good choice & well cooked. All in all, we would definitely stay here again for the proximity to the centre & the warm welcome.
