Lavalse Hotel

The corner room view is stunning, and you can go to the roof to watch the beautiful harbour at sunset. However, in winter, with all curtains open so that you can enjoy the view, at night the aircon may struggle to keep your room warm. Only odd is that they reserve two lifts for lower floors and two lifts for upper floors, which makes you feel discriminated in an unnecessary way The reef disfuser in the room could be too strong; I had to hide it in the cupboard to reduce the smell.

Loved the port view with the city skyline! Best view is obviously from the rooftop but even the twin city room had an amazing view. One thing I’d like to point out is that Lavalse had the room ready for us even before the check-in time which was so convenient after a 2.5hr long bullet train ride. Incredibly grateful for that and I understand it wouldn’t have been easy! Service was amazing and facilities were even better.

The hotel is nice and nicely decorated. I booked this hotel because it advertised having a restaurant and bar however, upon arrival we learned that the restaurant only serves a breakfast buffet every day which is expensive at ₩25,000 per person and dinner is only available on Friday and Saturday evenings. Therefore we were forced to find outside eating options as they don’t offer room service at all. We went to the bar to have a drink and learned that there is a set menu to order from so you do not have the option to even order something as simple as a screwdriver. There really was not a “bartender” and the Barista from the cafe had to come over to make the drinks but she didn’t even know how to make a Tequila Sunrise which is one of the items on the set menu. They offer wine but you have to purchase the whole bottle without even being given the option of trying a glass of it first. And each bottle was between $40-$60 USD. The refrigerator in our room was not cooling the entire time we were there and we called the front desk and they sent someone up to check it and he claimed it was working but it wasn’t. Nothing was cold ever and we were there for 5 days. The remote for our tv was broken. They replaced the batteries but the power button never worked so we had to manually turn it off and on. We did laundry once and the dryers do not work well at all. It took 6 hours to dry our clothes and we even tried all the dryers. Overall, the experience was decent.

Felt like a luxury hotel. Well decorated and very clean with spectacular views. Would come back again for sure!

Gorgeous room and a great staff!

Great location to stay with a family when visiting Busan - right outside the hustle but close enough to get into the heart of the city quickly. Comfortable room, best breakfast selection of any hotels we had on trip. Staff were not the most helpful but after reading a number of reviews this is what we were expecting.

Beautiful fun location right next to two bridges which you can walk Pochas were set up nearby on the weekend

Very clean room and excellent location. Was great to look out over the harbour and rooms were quiet. Very easy to walk to the subway or catch Ubers if needed. Downside was the bathroom layout with the toilet door having big gaps so privacy was lacking.

The hotel is beautiful, I loved the location and the view from the room. One small thing I really didn’t like is the not so small gap between the bathroom door and the wall. Which my friend and I found a little awkward but otherwise a lovely room.

It’s been 10 years since I last visited Seoul, and everything was truly satisfying and wonderful.

No tv movie stations or news channels broadcasting English language

Loved my stay here! I would book again. The staff was friendly, the breakfast was good and i loved the view over looking the city. Everyone including the guests were friendly. Would reccommend!
