Hotel Serrano Palace

Excellent hotel situated across the road from the lovely Son Mol Beach. Quiet though central location. Impressive hotel room and high end bathroom. We booked half board and the standard of food is very high indeed. Only criticisms in relation to our stay would be that the pool which is such a feature of the Hotel, was not heated (early Nov) though we prefer sea swimming (which was warmer), bottled water was not provided free of charge in the room and we were expected to pay for Nespresso capsules used in our hotel room coffee machine. Tea and coffee in a 5 star hotel room is to be expected as standard. We were able to park outside the hotel, free of charge, though at busier times you may need to valet park. The Cala Ratjada Boardwalk is just across the road too. Will book to stay again. We greatly enjoyed our stay.

Our stay at this hotel was excellent, especially the staff they were very friendly and attentive. The hotel is situated 50 mtrs from Son Moll beach which is really beautiful with cafes and restaurants all around. Our accommodation was fantastic, we had half board and the meals were amazing. Will defiantly return

I would only recommend this location to those looking for a short package holiday in a resort area. There is nothing Spanish-feeling about this part of Mallorca. It is a holiday resort. Many of the nearby shops and restaurants are geared for tourists and some parts of the town feel totally artificial. The clientele is largely German. The beach is just across the road. It is very clean but as it's small it gets very crowded. There are chairs with umbrellas (that get snapped up very quickly) but aside from that or sitting in one of a few beachside cafes, there are no natural shady areas. A couple of restaurants along the waterfront serve quite good and more authentically Spanish food. Aside from that, most restaurants serve the usual touristy fare. The one annoying thing was the hotel next door that liked to announce its upcoming morning and evening events so loudly (blasting this out in German) daily. One night, while on the balcony we were caught between two rival Frank Sinatra renditions - one in our hotel and one in the hotel next door. We booked half board but only ate dinner there twice. While there was a wide variety of food, much of it was drowned in heavy sauces and the better fare was gone by the time it reached 8:30pm as many diners started eating as early as 6:30. Thankfully, whatever noise one could hear in the evening stopped promptly by midnight. Only recommend if you are looking for a tourist resort in a lovely location but without a sense of local flavor.

This was an amazing experience -- we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We found that the food was beyond 5 star...and the feel of the entire hotel was just wonderful The only negative thing that we found during our stay there, was that the internet was a bit flakey -- had to keep putting in the password during the sessions, and since we paid extra for this service for the week, we were a bit disappointed in its performance. Otherwise the place is really wonderful. We especially liked the area, walking along the seawall was outstanding and the many places to eat and drink within minutes of the hotel were outstanding. Would never get tired of looking at the sea.

Hotel antiguo pero en perfecto estado. El servicio increíble. Muy buena cena y desayuno.

Ein schönes Hotel, direkt am Strand gelegen , mit der angrenzenden Hafenpromenade in Cala Ratjada. Vielfältiges Frühstück. Sonnen Roof Dach für den Sundowner. Praktisches kleines Fitnessstudio und Sauna. Das Hotel war für meine Vorstellungen gut ( Sportler ).

Sehr gutes Hotel. Werde ich sofort weiterempfehlen. Beim Essen merkt man, dass man in einem 5 Sterne Hotel ist. Das komplette personal ist auch noch positiv zu erwähnen.

Sehr guter Service, gute Lage, gute Auswahl beim Frühstück. Aber es ist komplett auf älteres Publikum ausgerichtet. Möbel altbacken und in die Jahre gekommen.

Wir waren leider nur eine Nacht im Hotel Serrano Palace, werden aber definitiv gerne wieder einmal kommen: vom Hotelzimmer bis zum Restaurant: Ausstattung und Service lassen keine Wünsche offen. Sehr zu empfehlen!

Et ældre hotel, med god placering. Rigtig god morgenmad og aftens buffet.god værdi for pengene.

Den stranden som tillhörde hotellet var inget likt bilderna. Liten och inträngd. Kvällsmusik som inte var passande för tyska pensionärer som övervägde. Trevlig och rolig personal i receptionen. Proffsig pianist som spelade på flygel vid frukost. Annars var restaurangen som en matsal. Fräscht men kvar i tidigt 90-tal i inredning. Vi tog bilen till stränder på annat håll.

War gut , aber eher 4 Sterne Plus Standard. Lage sehr zentral in Cala Ratjada

Eine Woche mal wieder im Serrano Palace, sehr schöne Lage, Zimmer gut, Service auch, man merkt und sieht dem Personal die lange Saison jetzt an, am 04.11. ist dann letzter Tag und das Hotel schließtbis Ostern

Angenehm wie immer!!! Das Hotel und die Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. das Frühstück sowie Abendessen ist immer sehr abwechslungsreich und lecker!

Alles bestens , kann man nur weiterempfehlen . Perfektes Essen und freundliches Personal. Parken ist etwas schwierig .

Bel hôtel et grande chambre par contre le service est loin de celui d’un 5 étoiles et le personnel à part quelques exceptions n’est pas très agréable. L’accueil a été déplorable pas un sourire des suppléments pour tout même pour le nespresso dans la chambre. Goûter payant à la piscine alors qu’il s’agit des restes du dîner de la veille. Bref à part les infrastructures et l’endroit sympa rien qui justifie le prix car tout est en extra. Il y a plein d’hôtels à Majorque beaucoup mieux et moins chers.
