We had a lovely week at Leonardo Royal. The location and views were lovely, especially from the sea view rooms. The all inclusive buffet was generous and we never had to queue for tables. Santiago, our waiter, was always helpful and truly the best. The service at the pool bar is slow.

Day one we arrive early hours of morning to the hotel pictured online. We was then told we are in the other one across road not on the sea front hotel. So we drag kids across road, we all basically pass out. Next day after feeling pushed out of the way by hotel, we go explore, area is lovely as always. We return later in the evening to find room very hot and bathroom light doesnt work (not even a bulb in it) told reception who said they would take a look at some point tomorrow. Slept bad as was so hot, thought the door was open and AC wasnt on so left on again as much in the day. When we returned it was boiling hot in room and cool outside. Called reception, Turns out the AC doesnt cool, so her suggestion was open door to balcony and bedroom window, (thats not ac to me thats heating) so how can you advertise AC lol and with a 3 year old and 5 year old we cant just leave windows and doors open on the 2nd floor ? Really ? No staff in this part of hotel just a cleaner every now and again so went across everytime to speak with them as the internal phone number to call reception had number scratched off. So, it also felt like we was the first ones in room this season as was extreamley dusty on all surfaces, it was not the hotel pictured, no light in bathrooom, no Air conditioning and not staffed hence was very noisey two nights as well (but didnt mention this to them).

Hotel it’s self was nice rooms in the suits section where dated and not very clean when we went in. No signs in the hotel to tell you where anything is and staff weren’t very accommodating to tell us anything upon arrival. Drinks in the suits bar where dirty and bar tender couldn’t make half the drinks for the all inclusive the food is also hit and miss

Room was dirty and smelled moldy. Staff at the bar was very disrespectful. I would not stay here again.

The rooms were disgusting. Mold in the bathroom. My friends room smelled horrible like mildew. The drawers were missing knobs.

Amazing view and food was great in every service shame the roof bar says open but hasn’t been open for some time great hotel thou can not fault it

Very clean and tidy

Everything was outstanding. Staff, food, bars, location, loads of bars and restaurants nearby. Highly recommend and we will be back.

Nice size comfort room, couldn’t get the air con to change temp. Staff were helpful. Bar staff were keen to close the bar at night. But made me a lovely coffee at the pool bar so I forgave them wanting to go to bed!

Upon arrival we was taken to the wrong hotel, as it was poorly signed, please take note that there is the sister hotel down the road, we then went to the correct hotel. Check in was chaos, the stuff was stressed, understaffed and rude, we were promised an early check in as I messaged the hotel prior. We then arrived at 10:30am, and then we couldn’t check in, was promised if we come back at 12:00noon we could get in our room, we had been up since 2am, went back at 12, no luck we didn’t get into our room until 4pm, even when check in ‘opens’ at 3. We then was put in another building across the road. The room itself which was a family apartment and the pictures did NOT match. The room was completely different to the pictures online, the hotel was as well, the only thing what matched was the view. The pressure on the shower was shocking and went hot and cold. The sunbeds by the pool is like a war, the pool supposedly opens at 7am, but the 5 days we was there people had towels down even earlier than this and sunbathing and there was physically no room for everyone staying at the hotel. The second pool in the building we were staying in was in complete shade and didn’t get any form of sun so everyone uses the main pool. If you have a late flight you can’t get a late check out there is a long lost and they charge 80 euros, the shower facilities are disgusting and smelt damp and you can tell they have not been cleaned, definitely not a 4* hotel!

We love the view from the hotel. The reception staff are nice and the cleaning lady, this year, was very good.

Pool area at bottom was very shaded by huge tree, not enough sunbeds and too many reserved and unused.

Great views , superb location, only positive vibes

This is a great hotel in a great location, everything was grand the food, the entertainment, staff,. Only issue i had was with our bathroom which needs updated due to moulding around the shower area which made it look a bit unsightly

The area is nice, and the hotel is ok. No sea view with family room, we were in the back suites, although photos on hotels.com showed that. The one annoying thing is the cleaning staff consistently entering the room even though we had the "do not disturb" sign on the door. And this happened on multiple days...

The room cleaning and the wifi was very poor, they only fixed the beds, for 7 days the bedsheets were never changed.

No sentí que necesitara salir del hotel ni una sola vez. Ofrece una experiencia todo incluido increíble y el personal es maravilloso, divertido, educado y servicial. Un gran agradecimiento a Yolanda y a todo el personal del bar por hacer que nuestra experiencia fuera divertida e inolvidable. Me encantaría volver en el futuro.
