Fine if you get a cheap deal but not a 5 star- food for breakfast cold every morning, no matter what time you arrived for breakfast Special request made and agreed upon prior to travel on health grounds not honoured. Chairs on balcony very uncomfortable and sun chairs not too much better. However, excellent location near sea front. Some of the staff couldn’t be more helpful but customer services not unfortunately. Room is big and spacious but would really benefit from a proper fridge in the room.

We had to complain constantly about the poor food at the evening buffet no al carte available We enddd up using sister hotels for dinner totally different experience This is not a 5 star property a 4 apart from the F&B that’s 2 star quality. Last night we were tired and went one last time no salad bar, pasta again mixed with meat, I had broccoli my daughter Chips !!!! Shocking

I am 2nd time in this hotel with conference. All very nice, Good conditions, many different food in hotel’ restaurants, large pools and garden. Hotel is close to all activity of Maspalomas,

Staff don’t speak English. Made us purchase a full adult meal for a child at lunch instead of a small portion.

This hotel is a bit unique.... it does not look like a hotel but like a church. Very interesting! Spoil in food choices..... a blessing and a curse... But, the most I loved was the balcony view to the sea, sun, moon. I appreciate the apology because it take humility to do it. I loved the feel... Having a bathtub ... was all the magic + night view to the MOON....I was looking for Thank you!

Lovely hotel with excellent food and service in the half board buffet. Luxury spacious hotel room with a great selection of pools and extremely clean in all areas of the hotel. Situated by the coastal path to Melanores and Maspalomas The main downside of this beautiful hotel is some of its reception staff. On both check in and check out I found the attitude and support poor for a 5 star hotel and certainly not that you receive in the rest of the hotel. At check in you are given a map of the hotel, which is a resort so on many levels, and told to find your room. Unless of course as I did I requested to be shown and helped with my luggage. On check out, I was given an extension to my room stay free of charge. But on actual checking out the balance of my account had been taken from my credit card deposit without my prior checking the charge and then without offering me the opportunity to pay cash as I wanted to. It took another member of staff to credit my account and accept the cash. There are other instances when my enquiries at reception where met with members of staff stood in a huddle talking and ignoring my presence. Ive stayed at other Lopesan hotels in the area and the reception have always been extremely helpful. I also met another young couple checking out who experienced the check in and check out unhelpful service. If the got this area sorted it would be a 5 star excellent hotel!

This hotel has been absolutely wonderful. The staff are lovely and the property is very clean. The food has been really good every night and a lot of options. The spa is also amazing.

The reception staff were amazing and the property was beautiful with 3 pools to choose from as well as a separate pool for kids and another pool for UNIQUE guests. The resort was beautiful however it is easy to get lost trying to find your room. I wouldn't say this is 5 star by many people's standard though it is more a 4 star. The only let downs were breakfast which was cold with uncooked baked beans, runny scrambled eggs, soggy cold hash browns, croissants from a packet that were dry and tasteless and hard cold eggs Benedict and fried eggs. The only part of breakfast that was hot were the freshly made omelettes. The other key down were the toiletries. They were all in squeeze bottles attached to the wall which is not what I would expect from a 5 star resort. There was no conditioner by the bath so to get the conditioner you walk to get out of the bath and walk over to the shower and squeeze the conditioner as hard as you could as it was almost impossible to get anything out of it and take it back into the bath. The shampoo, conditioner and soap all fixed to the wall were of very poor quality and it left your hair feeling like rope. The other things that were annoying were only two free bottles of water on day one and the fridge is half the depth of a normal one so you have to be careful of what you buy to make sure you will fit it in. The staff everywhere other than reception and Azatea bar were miserable and rude and yes the breakfast staff are militant.

This place was gorgeous. Lots of pools and the space on the property was great.

Nuestra habitación nunca fue limpiada adecuadamente. El primer día: una habitación no estaba limpia. El segundo día: no cambiaban las toallas. Todos los días: no reponían refrescos. No había café en la habitación. Cuando preguntamos en recepción, nos dijeron que no nos darían café porque no habíamos pagado la suite junior/habitación más grande adicional. Cuando les expliqué que no había té en la habitación y que si podíamos darnos una bolsita, nos dijeron que era demasiado tarde para dárnoslo, a menos que pagáramos 5 €. El personal del desayuno y el personal de mantenimiento han sido encantadores. Kersti y Maria, del personal de recepción, fueron increíblemente serviciales y Yankiel, del área de desayuno, fue increíblemente amable, servicial y agradable. Otros miembros de la recepción fueron increíblemente groseros, especialmente con la solicitud de refrescos. Las tazas no se limpiaron y se dejaron sucias junto a la tetera en la habitación. No repusieron refrescos durante nuestra estancia. Tuvimos que pedir toallas limpias en más de una ocasión.

Fabulous in every way. Perfect for families. Wonderful staff, great dining options.

Good facilities and pools, good food at buffet restaurant good variety of foods. Poor evening entertainment.

Hotel very clean however if you are looking for service don’t go here…management not interested in the customer…buffet restaurant is like going for school meals…not what you would expect of a five star hotel…or what they rate themselves…I would give it three
