The staff are very king and attentive for guests needs. The breakfast is delicious and the fruits are fresh. The rooms are comfortable and clean. Very good location. They suggest interesting tours. They were very helpful with the PCR booking, transport for PCR, and airport transport. I recommend.

If you are looking for five star luxury look elsewhere, but if you want good, basic, budget accommodation look no further. We had a great stay. We slept in late on our first day and missed the breakfast by two hours but they insisted on making us it even though it was after 12, they were fabulous. Bed really comfortable aswell

The position of the hotel is fabulous - just off the beaten track and quiet, but close enough to the main drag. We arrived very early morning to find out that we could have a room at the additional cost of $5 as the room we'd previously booked was not available until 11:00am. Both very tired, we opted to pay the extra $5. The room was clean, but very outdated - as it the whole guesthouse, but the staff are nice enough and the breakfasts are delicious. Large portion size too!

Relatively close to the international Colombo airport. The hotel will drive you there in their van for 1,500 - muck better than the 1,000 tuk tuk ride.
The key to the room did not work well, and the ac was either under-powered, or the room was way too hot at the start. The room had an apartment size refrigerator - not turned on.

I came back to Shanith Guesthouse for the end of my stay and it's definitely the nicest place I stayed in Sri Lanka. Very friendly ladies who make the breakfast in the morning, nice seating area on the balcony outside the rooms, fridge in the rooms which is nice if you want to cool water etc. The location is good, minutes away from the beach but also away from the noise of Lewis Place so it's quiet. I highly recommend this guesthouse

Really enjoyed my stay here. The rooms are great with fridge, kettle, kitchen area, air conditioning, and there's a great balcony area outside the room with chairs to relax.
The owner seems like a really nice guy and the other staff all seemed friendly.
A very comfortable stay, I will be back.

This place is the greatest, I stayed because it was only $20 and it was super clean, the people were super nice and the room was awesome. I had stayed at a beach resort and checkout was noon and we had a night flight so I booked this to get a shower and relax before flight. I wish I stayed here a few days.

In Negombo，You have no more choice,Shanith guesthouse is worth of the price yet,that's family style guesthouse which the house owner is nice,also helpful & You can stay at ease.Oh, the fish market is gorgeous ,strongly suggest

Booked and paid for the AC family apartment via MrJet/Expedia. On arrival the receptionist denied having any booking. After som argumentation, it was changed to "your booking was yesterday". Finally after about half an hour, they found their printout confirming our reservation, but then said that the AC apartment was already occupied by someone else. We got to speak to the owner over the phone who shouted that we had to accept a double room (2 adults & three kids) or take our money and go somewhere else. Oviously our advice would bee to stay away from this establishment!
