Aprilis Deluxe Hotel

I absolutely love the breakfast options, the staff were super helpful, particularly Andrees in the kitchen, a big hug from me to her . If I visit Istanbul again, I will be staying there.

Okey, room location was not so great!

The hotel was excellent. The Staff went above and beyond to help you around the city. Staff members actually walked us over to restaurants. Rooms were clean and very nice. They also set us up for pick up from port and then the next day set us up for airport drop off. Definitely recommend.

Hotel and staff were excellent, highly recommend

The hotel was clean and well run. They even gave us sandwiches to take with us to the airport. I would have given 5 stars were it not for an encounter we had with one of the desk clerks. We wanted to cancel a tour that the hotel had booked and he immediately got angry and raised his voice. He told us they had so many stars on Google and our business wasn’t at the top of their minds. In other words, we don’t care about your business. When the same clerk checked us out, he was quite rude and barely spoke. I didn’t understand the anger in response to a tour we were paying for and wanted to cancel. His attitude was very unprofessional and as much as I liked the hotel, I’d rather spend my money where it’s appreciated. This is my second visit to Istanbul and not likely to be my last. Thankfully, this is not the only hotel in town.

We really enjoyed the Hotel and Staff when we checked in. We had an early departure which they handled well. We were promised breakfast sandwiches for our early departure which never happened. Also, we received a recommendation for a rooftop restaurant with reasonable prices. Out of our 2 week trip in 6 different countries, it was the by far the worst and most expensive meal we've had. It was also the one which we barely had any Alcohol. We kinda felt like we received " Special" American prices.

Great hotel centrally located in the old city to visit the famous sites of Istanbul. Very kind and attentive staff. Plenty of choice for breakfast.

Lovely hotel and staff very friendly. Do not stay in the lower bedrooms located on the reception level as you are above the restaurant and all you can hear is chairs being dragged on the floor when people go to get their breakfast from 730am !! Roof bar is amazing.

Aprilis Deluxe provided an incredible stay, a nice room with ample space to unpack properly, staff were wonderful, providing help and excursion options. They even had a private taxi for my airport return (at a cost which was cheaper than a local taxi)z

The hotel and staff were wonderful! We arrived very early and the staff were extremely welcoming and helpful. We found it was easy to walk to all the main attractions with a lsrge selection if eateries very close. The hotel itself was clean and had great facilities - we used the gym each morning of our stay. It was small but had a good selection of equipment and was always clean. The breakfasts were great with a huge selection to cover all tastes. A very enjoyable stay.

Excellant hotel .Within walking distance of the major attractions, but lstanbul is very hilly and beware the hotel half way up a very steep one with difficult pavements and very heavy traffic. The top of the hill is a little more on the flat soif you have walking difficulties perhaps the sister hotel would be better. The staff in both are some of the kindest we have ever met so the Apryllis group are recommended. The rooms are not big but very clean with comfortable beds. Good air conditioning. However we are english and the breakfast for us was very poor. Basic same every day with no replacement if you are late risers as we are.. Salad bar , boiled egg , chips , plain lumpy horrible yogurt. If you are a breakfast person you will be disappointed. The staff in the breakfast room are realy lovely and never stop cleaning. Very good cofee machine. They have a nice rooftop bar ,one night they had belly dancing but we missed because no one told us about it and there were no signs. A shame as l am sure it woud have been fun. The hotel can help you with booking all trips , taxi entrace tickets. It is the staff who make the place so good

A great area, close to all most famous attractions. The views from the roof patio is very beautiful. Staff was very helpful. They arranged us a tour guide speaking our language, a transportation to the beach and transfer to the airoport (extra charge). There are a few high rated restaurants atound the hotel in 1-2 min of walk. Our favourite one was Mivan. It was a great stay!

The best thing about this hotel is by far the location. All the main attractions (mosques, Topkapi etc) are within walking distance (~15 mins) and there's a tram stop around the corner for further ventures (e.g. Kadakoy, Galata etc) The hotel itself however is not a 4* as advertised. It's very basic. I visited with 8 other guests and we were all of the same opinion. It definitely has everything you need to get by, but is not particularly comfortable. The breakfast has more Turkish options than continental (think salads/cheeses) but again has just enough choice for a decent eat - e.g. there isn't an omelette station but boiled and scrambled eggs are available. The rooms were clean and any time housekeeping was requested, it was prompt. The staff were on the whole really friendly - we did however have 1 quite pushy front desk person who repeatedly tried to sell us a boat tour (completely fine for this to happen once on arrival as information but it started to become uncomfortable as it was constant everytime i walked through the lobby after I had explained we had a booking we were already happy with). Across the 9 of us there were varied opinions on the comfort of the beds. In summary, we wouldn't be likely to stay again - however in all fairness, Istanbul is an older city so the options in such a convenient location would be limited, especially for so many people travelling together.

Service was excellent. The staff was very helpful in guiding you around Istanbul, offering tours, suggestions, and assistance in transportation. The room was very nice and a decent size especially for Europe. Hotel is centrally located to all major attractions. And is approximately 1.5 km from the ferry that can take you across the Bosphorous.

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. It is very well located for the old town. Breakfast was adequate. We had one of the bigger rooms and it was spacious. However the duvet was too small for the bed and the lighting wasn't great and very confusing and it was difficult to have just a bedside light on to read. We booked transfers through the hotel and sadly our car was late/didn't arrive due to rain and traffic. The hotel reception eventually booked us a normal taxi and covered the cost which was great service. Despite this we were very stressed as we were very late getting to the airport. Not sure I'd use the transfer service again

The staff were great. Communication before our stay was excellent. They also have services for tours and transport. The room was clean and spacious. Restaurants are abundant within a 15 min walk as were tourist attractions.
