Hotel The Pera Hill

It was a great stay there! Really, exceeded expectations. It was quiet in the room as our window looked into the inner yard. Breakfasts were tasty and fresh and served on the top floor with views which made breakfasts even more pleasant.

the reception guy was very mean when we arrived because we rejected using the very expensive shuttle service. there were 2 arab ladies that gave us excellent recommendations in the city

Staff were great. All the ladies working in the kitchen and dining room area were amazingly nice and welcoming, especially Rasha and Betul. There are plenty of choices in the breakfast section. The location was fantastic, it was 2 minutes walk to Istiklal Cadesi, where you find numerous restaurants and shops. If you’re not a fan of crowds and busy locations, this hotel might not be suitable for you. Our window was right above a busy street with many bars and restaurants which would stay open until throughout the night and playing music. However, for us this was a plus since we enjoyed the vibe even when inside our room. The negative point was that during our 8 days stay, the room was never vaccumed although we would leave it for cleaning. Only the towels were changed and beds were made. The last day of our stay, the room was super dirty and needed a good cleaning, but we couldn’t imagine staying there for another night! It would be great if the hotel consider doing a deep cleaning for guests who stay more than 3-4 days.

El hotel excellent

Great location and helpful staff, including ladies Ms. Rasha on the roof and Ms. Melisa on reception. Gentlemen were helpful as well. But housekeeping service was limited, no vacuum cleaning at all during the whole stay. Including shower floor. Until I clean it myself.

Everyone on the staff were very courteous & friendly. Special shout out to Rasha , the breakfast staff & the 2 bell boys. Great

Best service best staff

The hotel is in a great location and easy to walk to historical sites and shopping areas. The staff all did a fantastic job and Rasha at the breakfast area was exceptional!

Whilst the employees were very helpful, the condition of the hotel was deplorable.

The best part of this hotel is the very obliging Staff. The young man with a suit on at the reception, the Yemen lady with hijab, the one who makes lovely omelette whilst you wait and other ladies at the breakfast room. Breakfast Is extensive and fresh. Both me and my wife thoroughly enjoyed our stay

Very nice but needs to be updated

I have some my Issues I did reserve six nights room size 3 29 ft.² when I arrived Reception or Mr. Hussein squeeze me in a room 29 ft.² I did complain about the TV not working about the room smell bad. I told him this is not what I reserve on Expedia, he mentioned to me the hotel is full I told him not that what I reserve even I spoke to Expedia the contact the office at Pera Hill today later I spoke to Mr. Yousuf. Receptioner he was great man right away. He did satisfied me with what I did reserve at Expedia. I had the right room working TV very clean room again thanks for Mr. Yousuf

The hotel is situated in a very desirable area, very convenient for shopping and walking and dining. The rooms are good, and the staff are very courteous and professional.

My girlfriend and I enjoyed our stay immensely, and we'd both happily recommend your hotel to anyone who is looking for temporary accommodation in the centre of Istanbul, which for me is one of the most amazing cities in the world (I am Norwegian, I've been three times, and I look forward to returning again). Friendly staff, superb breakfast in idyllic circumstances on the rooftop, and fine rooms with large bathroom facilities - what more could one want, especially as the location, right off Istiklal, is second to none? We'd gladly return to The Pera Hill.

the hotel stay was amazing , the best thing was the hospitality, the staff was very helpful and friendly , would definitely recommend everyone to consider this hotel , the staff at the front desk to the staff at the breakfast buffet everyone was five star service. \very happy with stay. it was a very excellent location could walk to galata tower and taksim square .the breakfast buffet had lots of choices and freshly prepared. our 7 night stay was cozy and precious. The hotel is within a few meters away from the British Consulate and 5 mins walk away from Istiklal Street and about 15 mins walk away from Taksim Station. There are a variety of food options within 5-15 mins walk depending on what you fancy. Despite being a vegeterian and a fussy eater, I was very happy with the options which was one of the main reasons for choosing this hotel. The staff were nice but the facilities were not the cleanest. Our rooms were on 1st floor and both rooms stank of smoke. The pub downstairs was noisy too and the traffic noise and loud music from the chapel pub/club went till 1am or more every night desipte not being weekend. Special mention for the cleaning ladies who were really nice and courteous. There's also a little corner shop withing a few meters. The indian restaurants around the hotel are actually Pakistani restaurants which we figured later. So perhaps they might offer good options if you are non vegetarian. My favourite places: 1) Safa: For Baklavas specially Soguk baklava. 2) The Himalayan Restaurant: Nepalese restaurant for amazing vegetarian options like Momos, Dal roti etc. 3) Falafel House: Great falafels. 4) Any clean vendor: Freshly squeezed orange juice.
